A Moment of Ancient Tea - From the moment we stepped into the doorway everything was excellent. We were greeted by name and led to an efficient process of dressing into our kimono. Our tea ceremony host educated us into the way of the ceremony explained the history and the ancient history. We ten learned and made our tea. I would highly recommend attending this ceremony.

Great cultural experience - The kimono and tea ceremony was a great experience, they dressed us in kimonos first which was an experience in itself then we had the tea ceremony which let us know about tea culture in Japan.

Authentic and Great Experience - Great time. My daughter looked so beautiful after they worked to get her dressed appropriately. Wasn’t too bad myself. Wonderful host who walked us through the entire process and was welcoming to questions and made the experience one of the most memorable parts of our trip.

Tea Ceremony - Good experience in Tokyo - A very well presented tea ceremony. The location was easy to find and the Tea Ceremony room was well decorated decorated. We did the kimono wearing followed by the tea ceremony. The kimono dressing up was around 10 minutes and then the Tea Ceremony began. The host was a very good as she explained every step took her time to explain the history and the process of tea making. There are photo opportunities after the event. Happy with the experience and would definitely recommend to attend in order to get an insight into an old Japanese tradition and a part of their culture.

Great experience - My family and I had a great experience learning about the history of tea in Asia and participating in a tea ceremony. Beginning with their great organization, dress up, hair and kimono fitting. We left so happy we chose to engage in this experience. Awesome, highly recommended.

Lovely Experience - Relaxing and Fun - In the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, its nice to be able to unwind and relax at Maikyo and learn more about the place of Tea Ceremonies in the history of Japan. The guides explain how it all started, what to do during a ceremony, and teach you how to make your own matcha tea. Despite not being a lover of matcha tea myself, I still enjoyed it thoroughly. There's no feeling quite like wearing a kimono and attending a Tea Ceremony!

A tranquil tea ceremony - The tea ceremony was a great experience in Tokyo. We started by getting into kimonos, which were expertly put on and beautiful. Then we went to the tea ceremony. Our host was marvellous intricately explaining process and creating a tranquil atmosphere. We had an amazing time.

Paid 86£ for two - Expenisive!!!! - Too expensive for the event - all though they did a great job of hosting and organizing TEA ceremony wearing Kimono, I would not pay more than 25£ per head. Overall good experience but not worth the price.
