If in Denali area… won’t disappoint! - Definitely a “must do” experience. Opted for glacier landing as well… worth it! Our pilot has flown in the area for 30 years and provided interesting narration throughout our flight. Work every penny!

12 year old me geeked out! - First let me say that TAT is the best. I booked a flight via a 3rd party while enroute from Anchorage (I strongly suggest that you call Talkeetna Air Taxi directly for booking). That being said, when we arrived, we asked about adding the glacier landing. The staff was incredible and made it happen! Secondly, wow! This was the most awe inspiring thing I have ever done! We took the summit tour and flew over the top of Denali. I got to sit in the copilot seat for the first part of the tour. 12 year old me was geeking out(I'm 58)! Then we landed on Ruth Glacier. Our pilot, Liam, was awesome. He answered all of my questions which were mostly about the aircraft. I would do it again!

Amazing summit tour - This was an experience of a lifetime. We chose the summit tour with glacier landing. This tour brought us up close and personal with Mt. Denali, as well as many of the other peaks of the Alaskan range. Our pilot, Clay, was knowledgeable and funny, while making us comfortable on our first small plane flight. We took hundreds of photos on the flight and glacier landing. The glacier landing was a highlight of the trip. Words aren't sufficient to describe this trip.

Adventure of a lifetime - Excellent tour; the pilot was very knowledgeable about the peaks, glaciers, and entire area. Pilot did a great job flying and the instructions were clear; got a great view of the Denali peaks at about the same elevation as the south peak (20,300 feet); and the tour included a glacial landing, which was spectacular, with an opportunity to get out of the plane and walk on the glacier! I would highly recommend this tour!

Spectacular Denali Flight with Glacier Landing - Probably the most memorable excursion that I have ever been on. We were fortunate to fly on a crystal clear day and needless to say, Denali was spectacular! The pilot, Liam, was so friendly and the flight smooth, including the amazing glacier landing and take-off. Not to knock competitors, but this is the tour you should take. We took the South Summit with Glacier Landing flight and would happily do it again (and again.... and again). Great views for everyone on board. Just Wow!

DENALI SUMMIT with GLACIER LANDING WORTH EVERY PENNY! - The most amazing thing we have done so far in Alaska. We took the summit flight tour with glacier Landing and we were able to see all of Denali with a few clouds. Then we landed on the glacier and oh my it was beautiful and breathtaking. Captain Liam was great with sharing stories with us and keeping us safe 10 out of 10 for him. Everyone at Talkeetna air taxi were great. Because they were able to move our flight one day earlier because the weather was better. Thank you so much! Highly recommend you use Talkeetna air taxi to go and see in Denali. It’s well worth the money spent a lifetime of memories.

This tour should be on your bucket list! - What ab incredible experience! This was the highlight of my trip to Alaska. Words cannot describe how beautiful it is up there. It is difficult to see Mt Denali from the ground. Before this I saw the mountain peaking through the cloud cover. However when you get up in a plane, the views are breathtaking. Definitely include the glacier landing.

Summit tour in moderate weather - Despite the moderate weather, it was a very successful sightseeing flight with a glacier landing (actually a MUST). It is very impressive to immerse yourself in this sometimes bizarre world of rock, snow and glaciers. You are connected to the pilot at all times via headphones, who also provides interesting information about this mountain world. As the weather conditions were rather bad, Talkeetna Air Taxi offered a price reduction on its own. This excursion is highly recommended!

Beautiful - This is the tour you want to choose - I have mixed feelings and personal opinions about this tour. I did the Summit Tour with Glacier Landing. The tour itself was fantastic! I had waited 14 yrs to do this tour and landing and walking around on the glacier was beautiful. My only disappointment was the training we had gotten on how to use the oxygen. ½ of us used it one way and ½ of us used it another way. I felt like I missed 10 minutes of the best part of the flight over the peak of Denali messing with my oxygen because it wasn't sitting on my face correctly. I actually didn't even get to see the peak. I wished they had actually demonstrated how to put the oxygen on and maybe had us practice on land at the airport first. As once you are in the air the pilot cannot look back at us to know we are ok nor can we talk to the pilot, as you are not given a microphone to ask questions. Otherwise the tour was fantastic. I did actually speak with the office about this this and hope it will be changed for future travelers to make their experience perfect. The assured me this doesn't happen and so maybe it was just my own personal experience that flight. Otherwise I would definitely say this is the tour to chose from because Denali is so beautiful.
