Highlights
- Playa Grande - You will be transported in our boat from Tamarindo beach 200 meters out to sea where we will help you get on board our 38 foot Fontaine Pajot Catamaran. You will navigate our pacific sea for 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can relax with the beautiful view of the horizon, enjoy the breeze and sunbathe. You can consume drinks while you enjoy the trip, we offer you natural fruit drinks, soft drinks, soft drinks, beers, cocktails and a variety of alcoholic beverages. You will listen to music of your choice. You can eat fresh fruit and try our delicious skewers. Once we reached our destination, we anchored at a private beach called “Playa Huevo”. We will be there for 1 hour, you can do your favorite water activities and enjoy a delicious lunch. At 4pm we will return on the way to Playa Grande to watch the sunset on our coast, we anchor again at 6pm to return to land in our boat.

Our sunset voyage is amongst the most visually appealing adventures in our repertoire. Bask in the luxury, comfort, and hassle-free experience aboard our vessel, where each venture offers a distinct and remarkable experience. Be amazed by the diverse and dynamic hues of Tamarindo’s dusk - an ideal occasion for creating precious mementos. We begin our journey at 1 pm, and half an hour prior, our guide will meet you at the predetermined location to equip you with pertinent details. Thereafter, a boat will transfer you to our main ship where our crew awaits to warmly welcome you onboard. You’ll have access to a free-flowing bar, bruschettas, and fresh fruits at your convenience. We will then sail for 90 minutes en route to a secluded beach, where you will have ample time to indulge in aquatic leisure activities and a scrumptious lunch for an hour. The return journey will also last for 90 minutes, during which you can witness the grandeur of the sunset draped over our shores. Revel in the sunlight, the soothing breeze, and possible encounters with marine creatures.

Great time! - The crew was awesome and ensured we had a fabulous time. The boat was nice and the time spent on the water was relaxing and fun. The sunset was BEAUTIFUL.

Wonderful - highly recommend! - We had a group of 10 ages ranging from 11 to 72 out on the catamaran and it was an amazing afternoon. The crew was very friendly and enjoyable to be around. They made delicious drinks, food and took us to a beautiful beach. The water activities were excellent - on the beach we saw hundreds of crabs and turtle tracks.
For appetizers they made bruschetta and fresh fruit plate. For lunch they served rice and chicken, beans, steamed veggies, potatoes, salad and chips. Everything was great and our kids liked it too.
Bathroom on boat was clean and they had hand sanitizer available for all to use as well.

Great sail - This was a really nice sail !!! Small group which was perfect. Sailed over to a private beach where we had an hour to explore the beach. Kayak and SUP. After the beach we had a really good lunch and a sail back to tamirindo. We had a beautiful sunset. Free flowing cocktails. It was a really nice time great attentive crew. Would recommend ! Loved the small group ! Don’t think I would have enjoyed it if the boat was packed !

Staff very nice but wouldn’t book again. - Staff was very friendly. Boat was smaller than expected but that was ok. When we got to the beach area there was no option to snorkel, they never even mentioned it. They had one paddle board (that they never took down) and we had 13 people in our group. They just gave us swim noodles and said to swim to the beach. The trip was ok, we have done several similar trips and this one was by far the worst we have experienced. We were super excited about this so it was a big bummer.

Cancelled due to overbooking while standing on the beach for pickup - We arrived at the beach ready for pickup by the boat on time. Play Tide then informed us standing on the beach that they had overbooked the tour and canceled three people from our group. There was no advance notice which left no other option but to miss the day on the boat for our whole group because it split the group up. This was a very unprofessional experience and was met with nothing but a refund and "good luck booking another boat".
