5 star snorkeling. - Great snorkeling adventure. There were both snorkel and scuba on the boat, but I never felt as if this was a scuba excursion with a snorkeling option. Long bouncy boat ride out to remote island. They dropped the snorkelers and the scuba in different spots. You are definitely in the Pacific Ocean, close to a remote island. Guide Lily let us around and pointed out quite a bit of marine life. My wife was afraid to go in the water, but Lily helped her in and stayed with her the entire time. Pufferfish, sharks, many schools of fish, many different kinds of fish. Great for GoPro memories It’s a little rough out on the ocean, not the same as a beach snorkel. They probably do need to go over emergency situations prior to leaving, but I never felt unsafe.

Awesome half day, affordable snorkeling excursion! - We had an awesome half day snorkeling excursion to Catalina Island! The trip was easy to book last minute and they let us know everything we needed to be prepared. The boat ride out to Catalina was about 45 minutes, just the right amount of time to enjoy the views and chat with the crew. They prioritize relatively small groups so there was plenty of space to enjoy the ride and interact throughout the day. We snorkeled with Lily and loved her energy and her expert fish spotting! We saw tons of beautiful and colorful fish, rays, starfish, a turtle, eels and more. It was the perfect amount of time to be out in the water as we got back to shore around noon and could enjoy our whole afternoon relaxing. Highly recommend this excursion!

Excellent Group To Spend Time On The Water With - Wonder guides during our trip. We were able to have some in our group do the snorkeling, while other did the scuba diving.

Pura vida at its best - The guides and crew of the ship were amazing. Lily was our snorkel guide - fun, funny, generous and very knowledgeable. We saw an incredible amount of sea life; it was the perfect day. Thank you for also helping me practice my Spanish 😉 I highly recommend this shop for snorkel or scuba so you get the best local knowledge and time in water.

Highlight of our trip! - First time snorkeling, and it was really fun. The staff at Tamarindo Diving were so nice and accommodating. They work very hard between the pickups, driving, keeping equipment organized and making sure customers are having fun and being safe. Definitely recommend!

Super snorkel trip - The 2 snorkelling sessions were brilliant and Andrés our guide looked out for us and helped us to see turtles, sharks and rays as well as lots of fish. There were also divers on the trip and everything was well-organised and felt safe for the snorkellers and the divers with a helpful crew who clearly knew what they were doing. Our equipment was provided and worked well and there was fruit, biscuits and water. The water was really clear and we had a super time.

Fabulous Snorkeling - What a fabulous snorkeling trip. We went on a boat with a few divers and a few snorkelers. Both had guides. The snorkeling excursion was super. We saw lots of variety of fish, some Eagle Rays and some sharks. The guide was super. It was quite a bit of swimming but so much fun. Hope to do it again next year. Boat was clean and spacious.

Incredible diving!!! - You can not find a better group of dive guides in Tamarindo!! There is so much wildlife to see out in the Catalinas islands too -- I did 10 dives with this group and wish I could've done 20. Don't miss out on this great diving spot with the best people!!

Excellent Diving Experience - We dove Las Catalinas with Davide and his team. They were really superb. Divemasters were all safe, kind and added in some great humor. I highly recommend going with him and his crew. The sea life was great including diving with a Manta Ray.

Bad - The tour was divided into several companies. The main one was rudeness, they ignored us all the time, they didn't give us instructions like other people. We are locals, we know that Costa Rica has excellent customer service, this was terrible. My mother got sick, no one took care of her. The boat smelled of gasoline, sending out smoke. Poor hygiene practices. The guy who took us snorkeling was the only friendly one.
