Spectacular Sunset - Great crew who navigated in windy seas. Took care of everyone enthusiastically. Food was good. Snorkeling was not so great with not much to really see. Good music and good time with other passengers. All topped off by a spectacular sunset on the way back to Tamarindo.

could’ve been better :-( - My best friend and i booked this while in costa rica due to the good reviews; we had a good time but i wish the company would’ve just cancelled the trip. The wind was terrible this day and made the water super choppy and i got seasick, the wind with the water made it impossible for any actual snorkeling, which was a huge disappointment considering my friend had never done it before and that is what we were most looking forward to. aslo note the alcohol is very much unlimited and turned our ride into a bit of a party boat and no one else was interested in anything else, which was annoying. The meal they provided was very mid as well, the least impressive during the whole trip. The staff was great and very nice but for the money we spent we only got less than half of what we paid for. I would probably not book this again.

Could be so much better with a few changes - more time in water, better attitude from the crew - This was fun but definitely not a must do when in Tamarindo. The good things first: the lunch was yummy and flavorful, and the water felt amazing when we were permitted to go in. The music on the boat was good as well and the company of other travelers was the best part. For the more unfortunate aspects of the excursion - We wished there was more time for swimming and snorkeling, as we only were given one hour to swim and snorkel the whole tour after baking in the sun on the boat for several hours not able to go in and it was way too warm and very little shade, making it difficult to enjoy the whole first half of the cruise. Additionally, the rules posted on the boat clearly stated that flotation noodles or life jackets were mandatory while in the water, "no exceptions," but it seemed that our crew could not have cared less. This was never mentioned nor enforced and one member of our cruise nearly drowned while attempting to swim to shore without any sort of flotation device (he should never have attempted if he wasn't a strong swimmer but it is still responsibility of the crew to keep everyone safe... especially when the rules are posted for everyone to see and say no exceptions). After being rescued and taken to shore by a fellow passenger, several other passengers attempted to alert the crew that the individual needed a kayak to return to the boat, which was met with incredibly slow response time and somewhat callous "yeah.... I know....I got it...." after another passenger was attempting to raise urgency that he needed help. The person who nearly drowned sat on the shore for 15 minutes waiting for help after taking in gulps of saltwater and coming seconds from drowning. The crew was not very outgoing or friendly, pretty much only speaking when spoken to or amongst themselves. After going in the water the crew used buckets of fresh water to rinse the salt water off themselves, and when a passenger asked to do the same the captain shook his head no.... why do it in front of the passengers if you are going to deny them the fresh water when you are using it?

Worst catamaran yet!! - We have lived in Tamarindo for 11 years and go back and forth from Texas. I have taken many girlfriends on my girl trips and we always do a catamaran. I have taken all of the catamarans in Tamarindo at one time or another, but I had n er taken this particular boat out yet. This was the most disappointing trip EVER! The crew was more hell bent on helping and serving the young girls in thongs and left everyone else to get their own. The boat was smaller than all the rest too. We inquired the day before about the cocktails and were told they had beer. Imagine our surprise when we learned they were only passing out the super cheap beer and didn’t even have IMPERIAL, which is the beer of choice in Tamarindo! Super disappointed and will never take another friend on that boat! They said all of the right things to get you to sign up, but the actual boat was terrible!

Party Boat, Not Family Friendly - The best part if this trip was getting back on shore! This is not a family friendly tour. It was an experience similar to being trapped inside a strip bar or a gay bar. The open bar was heavily attended during our time on board. The pole dancing and 3-way kissing was throughly enjoyed by the staff with no consideration for others. The elderly family members we brought with us who were seated under the canopy to stay out of the rain were constantly subjected to exposed butt cheeks in their faces. Literally. A crew member brought his child, likely 10 years old, which we found inappropriate. A drunk passenger drove the boat for about an hour, occasionally the captain left his post and she was alone at the helm. The women's bathroom was not working properly and the crew did not show any concern and did not address it. The boat advertized room for 50 people but was overloaded on our tour with 60+ people. We looked forward to the snorkeling but were severely disappointed. The crew did not drop off pasengers close enough to the snorkeling area and thus required a vigorous swim. We were warned not to get too close to the rocks but no crew members were assisting people in the water who were in danger. This should be rated 18+ trip with a warning that safely is not a prime concern of crew members.

Just don’t 😳 - We had way higher expectations for our tour today😞 the crew was really not that friendly or attentive, only if you were younger and ready to flirt. The beer selection was poor, no imperial which is the beer of Costa Rico. Meal was ok. For $90.00, the value is just not there. Do your research.
