Highlights

Upon departing, you will leisurely sail along the Gold Coast enjoying some of the vast, abundant and varied sea life found along our shores. Some of the sea life you hope to encounter includes whales, dolphins, turtles, flying fish, rays and a wide variety of seabirds. If conditions permit, you will also throw a few fishing lines off the back in the hopes of hooking into one of the many game fish that ply our waters.

Eventually the catamaran pulls into one of the many secluded bays in the area and you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the warm Costa Rican waters. Life vests, pool noodles, snorkel equipment and stand up paddle boards are available should weather conditions permit. For those passengers not wanting to get wet the catamaran is a great place to relax in the shade of the huge main salon or lounge in the sun on one of the many open deck areas.

Following our time playing in the water, a light lunch is served. Lunch is served at approximately 4:30 pm and includes the following:

BBQ Chicken or Pasta Salad,

Yellow rice,

Black beans,

Fresh Fruit Plates,

Chips (Doritos, Lay’s,Cheetos and Tostitos),

Fresh made Pico de Gallo and

Homemade chocolate chip cookies using our Grandma’s favorite recipe.

This tour also includes a premium open bar, that includes:

Soft Drinks: Pepsi, Pepsi Light, Ginger Ale, 7 Up, Toronja (Fresca), Tonic Water, Soda Water and Bottled Water

Juices:Orange juice, mixed fruit juice , cranberry juice, apple juice and tomato juice.

Beer:Imperial, Miller and Coors Light.

Liquor:Flor de Caña Rum, Absolut Vodka, Jack Daniels Whiskey, Tanqueray Gin, Jose Cuervo Tequila and Cacique Guaro.

After lunch you will sail across the bay and back towards your departure point. You will arrive at port as the sun nears the horizon and the sky explodes into a multitude of colors. Passengers disembark on the sands of Tamarindo or Playa del Coco just after the sun has sunk beyond the horizon.

Amazing sunset and turtle watching - The crew of this ship was outstanding. They were constantly circulating the guest offer drinks. They had full bar and great lunch of fresh fruit, bar b q chicken, chips, rice and beans. The captain was very kind and personable. The staff was great at getting everyone set up for snorkeling. The snorkeling it self was a bit short in time and water was not very clear. The captain did circle around and stop so we could see mating sea turtles, 3 -4 sets. & Dolphins. Amazing sunset views. This trip definitely worth it.

Really fun tour with great snorkeling and geat food - Really great tour! We did the morning version and even got to see whales on our trip out! The boat ride was really nice, we got to see a lot snorkeling, and the lunch was fantastic. Much better than I expected!! Usually the food on tours like this is so-so, but this food was really great. BBQ chicken, rice, fruits & veggies, cookies, chips, and dip. There was time to relax and eat and plenty of time to swim and snorkle. For snorkeling, they provided clean masks & snorkels, as well as flippers and floaties. (The flippers were a must as the waves were a bit strong!) I saw tons of beautiful fish, including about 5 puffer fish, and a school of the cutest tiny stripped fish I've ever seen, as small as a pencil eraser! Highly recommend!

Worth every dime! - We took this cruise as a one stop for a nice half day experience. Captain Andre was incredible and his crew was spry and helpful! Couples, families and singles all on board and had an exceptional experience. Water was a bit cloudy for snorkeling but the swimming was still enjoyable. Sunset was timed PERFECTLY for some great photos and the food after our swim was among the best we had during our stay! Highly recommend this excursion!!

Beautiful Sunset! - Gorgeous sunset cruise! The drinks were delicious, the food was fantastic! Snorkeling was a little murky due to rain, but that certainly wasn't their fault. Getting in the water with pool noodles and just swimming around was still fun and so refreshing. Highly recommend!

Good for families - Drinks and food on boat were delicious!!! We saw whales and dolphins on our cruise which was amazing. Not necessarily the party boat experience you would get with some other catamaran cruises but this would be great for a family! Snorkeling gear was given but not much to see. We enjoyed just floating in the water during the snorkeling portion.

It was ok but want worth it- one so-so snorkeling spot, lunch not til 330…. Eh…. - The swim was nice but not much of a snorkeling site. It was mostly sitting on the boat and being blasted with music for ours. Not much of a snorkel trip.

TamaGringo: Full of tourists, dirty and overcrowded - Last time I was in Tamarindo was about three years ago, and it felt magical. But this time around, it felt commercialized and dirty. The magic was completely gone. It’s very touristy, there’s horse rides available on the beach (with their poop 💩 on the sand as a bonus), people hve their dogs off the leash as if it’s a dog beach, and it’s too crowded. I felt like I was on spring break back in college. I won’t be going back, and if you go, I would stay no more than 2 nights. The only good thing is that there are a lot of restaurant options.
