Chefchaouen is situated in the heart of Morocco’s Rif Mountains.
Chefchaouen (sometimes called Chaouen) is relaxed, with very affordable accommodations, and above all, quite stunning to look at. The streets and most of the buildings in the old part of town (Medina) are painted a most brilliant sky blue.
Chefchaouen offers its visitors the charm of a city which has preserved Arab Andalusian arts and traditions.
We can see a beautiful landscape on the road: Jbala Mountains, Berber villages, locals small markets situated in the road, Dams…
We can have a coffee break in the middle of the road.
In Chefchaouen, the streets and most of the buildings in the old part of town (medina) are painted a most brilliant sky blue. During the walking tour, we have the impression that nothing has changed in Chefchaouen for centuries. It’s like a live museum or like seeing a documentary about Moroccan history.

Rafi a great guide - The views on the road from Tangier to Chaouen are spectacular Rafi or Rafa, our guide, always attentive to ensuring that we enjoyed the journey and helped us spend a spectacular day. Excellent guide, friendly, punctual and a good driver. I recommend it 100%

Chefchoauen- a gem to discover with this guide!! - Phenomenal day. Tour guide helped me put when others cancelled last minute. I took express bullet first class from casablanca to tangiers. (35$ one way. Less for 2nd class). Clean beautiful train stations. Guide promptly met me and we had a wonderful Teo hours as he told me about the local culture and history. Very kind knowledge professional just wonderful. Car was new and very clean. He know chefchoauen very well so we went to many scenic and spectacular spots. Don't miss this opportunity! So fantastic. Highlight of morocco!

Wonderful day in Chefchaouen - Fabulous day trip to the blue city with the very knowledgeable Rashid. We had a brilliant walking tour to see all the sites and best photo spots. This included a stop for some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and a lovely traditional lunch afterwards. Rashid was good company and a very safe driver at all times on the very windy roads through the mountains to Chefchaouen. Thanks for a great day!

The Blue City - The Best City - I’m a 23 year old solo female traveler and this was my first time in Morocco. I had originally went on a tour the day before with Ashraf and loved it so much, i decided to join him for another day. This time to Chefchaouen, the blue city. It was an incredible day tour and I’m so lucky everything fell into place. We walked around all of Chefchaouen, had an amazing lunch overlooking the mountains & was able to even see the artiseans working/teaching how to make their rugs. I definitely recommended taking a day trip to Chefchaouen with Acshraf! You will feel safe, comfortable & like a local!

A Day in the Blue City - We traveled with Achraf to the Blue City of Chefchaouen last week. It was an amazing trip made more so by Achraf’s warmth, knowledge, and deep love for the many cultures of Morocco. He picked us up at the ferry terminal and walked us back into get our tickets at the end of the day. Everything in between was simply magical! We highly recommend Achraf as a guide and will certainly be back soon to travel again through other parts of the country with Achraf!

The best tour guide - Our tour guide (rachid) is now our friend. Such a gentleman, very knowledgeable of the history of not only the city but country as a whole which is something we enjoyed.
No rush tour, knew the best spots for views and photos.
