Group trip to Northern Morocco - I travelled to Tangier with a large work group as part of a retreat. Our excursions also took us to Asilah, Tetouan, and Chefchaouen. Abdellatif was with us for four days and truly helped us understand so much about the geography, culture, politics, and history of everything we were seeing. He also has a great taste in food! We very much recommend this service.

Tangier Guided Tour: An Authentic Immersion into Moroccan Culture - The guided tour of Tangier was an extraordinary experience that allowed me to discover the beauty and cultural richness of this fascinating Moroccan city. The guide was exceptional in leading us through the labyrinthine alleys of the medina, revealing hidden secrets and telling fascinating stories about the local history and traditions. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge and passion for Moroccan culture, every moment of the tour was engaging and memorable. From tasting local delicacies to breathtaking views of the Tangier Bay, every stop on the tour provided us with an authentic and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to explore Tangier with an expert guide who makes every moment an adventure.

Must Do in Tangier! - Tifo is a fantastic tour guide! We were recommended to him by a friend, and the experience did not disappoint. This was our family’s first time in Morocco, and we saw all the sites and a surprise camel ride on the beach! He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Do not hesitate to book his tour when visiting Tangier; you won’t regret it.

The best way to visit Tangier! - Great way to get the “lay of the land” in Tangier. Tifo was flexible when our ferry from Tarifa was cancelled due to inclement weather. He arranged for a private driver to meet us at the port in Tangier & drive us to our hotel that evening. We met up the following day for our guided private driver tour of Tangier. My favorite unexpected part was the camel rides on the beach. Wow! Then visits to the Kasbah & shopping in the markets of Medina. The entire family, including our two young adult children, had a blast. We are already planning our next visit!

Nice Intro to Tangier - Excellent walking tour of the medina and beautiful drive along the coastline. The markets were delightful and my guide was very informative. The Cave allows you to get close to the crashing waves of the ocean. A nice introduction to Tangier.

Dishonest description and made us uncomfortable - While there were some nice parts, this tour left me disappointed and a bit uncomfortable. Starting with the nice parts, the driving portion had some great views, the camel ride was fun, our guide for the walking portion was knowledgeable and gave us a good tour of the Kasbah. Now for the bad parts. The tour was not as advertised in terms of what was included. After the camel ride we were asked to pay and told that it was not included in the price even though the tour description said the only thing excluded was lunch. We were asked to pay extra again when visiting the Hercules caves. Paying extra would have been fine if we were told before booking that was the case, but since we were not it felt predatory and like we were being scammed. Additionally, we requested an English tour and while the walking portion was in English, the driving part wasn’t meaning that we weren’t able to learn about anything we were seeing which meant we lost out on a lot of the value of that part of the tour. After our walking tour through the Kasbah we went into the Medina where the guide repeatedly pressured us to buy from his friends. He would hand us off to a shop owner, and leave us alone with them behind closed doors while they pushed their products, expressing open anger and frustration when we politely insisted that we weren’t interested. For two women traveling alone, this was very disconcerting and made us very uncomfortable. He continued this even after we told him that we weren’t interested in shopping. After these encounters, he became disinterested in the tour, ending it early in the middle of the socco and not at the listed drop-off location. We never saw the “included coffee and tea” and generally felt uncomfortable and frustrated by the end. Based on our experience I would not recommend this tour.

Skip this one. - Our guide had his own agenda; Took us to shops where he knew the owners and was likely to get a kickback Did not listen to what we wanted to do. He got angry with one of the other participants for buying a souvenir without his permission.

Not worth it! - This trip left me feeling sour. The Hercules cave entrance and camel ride is not included in the price you pay. And are then told you have to pay more on the spot for those (which would have been fine, if they said that upfront). They clearly state lunch is not included they should say those are not either. Our driver guide was late picking us up and didn’t let us know until after we messaged. We asked for an English tour but the driver guide was not able to speak English. The walking leg of the tour we were taken to the guides friends stores and stalls. Left alone and pushed to buy their products in what felt premeditated and predatory. When we said we were not looking to shop he tried one more time. After we declined, again, he became abrasive to us and ended the tour not at the designated area. Luckily, we were happy to end it as well and ended up being close to our hotel. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
