Mount Etna - Embark on this delightful culinary tour at 10am, starting with a pick-up from your accommodation by an authorized local guide in a Mercedes Minivan. A small group (maximum of 8 guests) is guaranteed. Your journey will take you through Sicilian villages, where you can admire authentic lava-stone houses and listen to captivating stories about Sicilian culture, traditions, and cuisine. Enjoy views of the finest Etna vineyards. Your first stop will be at a small family-run winery, where you’ll begin with a glass of chilled white wine. After a guided tour of the cellars, you’ll partake in a wine and cold appetizers tasting. The tasting includes 5 glasses of Etna wine, locally produced cheeses, salami, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. The second stop will be at a unique and historic restaurant/farmhouse, where you’ll continue your food and wine tour, featuring typical Mount Etna delicacies and wine.

Experience authentic family wineries, bygone homesteads, and provincial estates where exclusive organic food and specialty pastries, cultivated on lava lands and prepared following traditional recipes, will be yours to savor alongside the best Etna wines. Commence your trip at 10.00AM and conclude with drop-off at your accommodation in Taormina, Letojanni, or Giardini Naxos in an 8-seater Mercedes A/C Minivan, all accompanied by a Local Licensed Guide.

If you like wine, don’t miss this one - Our guide picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the most beautiful winery and views! Wines were delicious. Then the next stop was a private lunch for our group at another beautiful location, with wine included of course. Exceptional experience!

Amazing food, wine & history of Sicily - Our tour guide Denise was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. We learned not only about Sicilian wines and food but also about the rich history! The views were breathtaking and the food/wine was delicious. It was the perfect start to our trip.

Mt. Etna Sept 2023 - Wonderful food and wine tasting in the Sicily countryside around Mt. Etna! Loved our guide Denise. Gambino winery served wine paired with local cheeses, breads, eggplant, and olive oil (which they also produce and sell). Meal at a local restaurant in the country was delicious.

A lovely day in the mountains - This tour is a great way to spend time in the Mt Etna region without the stress of driving. Denise, the tour guide & driver picked us up promptly at the agreed upon time, She knows the area and the history of wine in the region. The Gambino winery is in a beautiful spot and the sommelier was enthusiastic about the winery and its history. Food was very good and special accommodation for dietary intolerance was made. The lunch spot, a ways down the mountain, was also excellent; food was creatively presented and accompanied by a glass of prosecco and wine choices; once again food intolerance was made. I strongly recommend this tour
