Our arrival will be at Montserrat, where we’ll explore the grand Montserrat Monastery, erected on the site of an ancient hermitage. The monastery owes its existence to the area’s religious significance, a result of unending pilgrimages honouring the Virgin of Montserrat. Post-visit to the sacred place, we’ll appreciate the panoramic vistas from the Montserrat lookout, showcasing the mountain’s famed beauty and awe-inspiring sights. Our next stop is Barcelona, Catalonia’s capital. Here, we’ll marvel at the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s most visionary feat, on which he laboured for four decades despite its incomplete status. This will be followed by a 2-hour sightseeing tour of Barcelona, encompassing the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, and Barcelona’s Ramblas. Our journey concludes at Barcelona’s port and the Barceloneta neighborhood. We’ll then be chauffeured up to Montjuic Mountain, providing an elevated view of the city.
