Tashkent - Board the high-speed train from Tashkent to Bukhara (business class, subject to availability; if not, enjoy a folklore show or dinner in Bukhara).

Bukhara - Upon arrival at Bukhara Railway Station, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Meet your guide and begin your tour.

Poi Kalyan Mosque - The Kalyan Minaret, a remnant of the Kara-khanid era mosque built by Mohammad Arslan Khan in 1127, stands at 45.6 meters. This structure, which survived the Mongol conquests and impressed Genghis Khan, remains the focal point of Po-i-Kalyan square.

Ark of Bukhara - The Ark, a royal citadel, is Bukhara’s oldest structure and served as the residence for its rulers for over a thousand years. Its origins are ancient, and it was the nucleus around which medieval Bukhara developed.

Moschea Bolo-khauz - The Bolo Hauz Mosque, located opposite the Ark Fortress, features an octagonal artificial pond in front. Built in 1712 during the reign of Abu’l-Faiz Khan, it is one of Bukhara’s last major pre-modern buildings.

Maghak-i ‘Attari Mosque - The oldest mosque in Central Asia, which once served as a Buddhist and Zoroastrian temple, is renowned for its intricate brickwork architecture.

Trading Domes - A vibrant old bazaar with an oriental atmosphere, filled with artisans’ workshops.

Lyab-i-Hauz - Constructed in the 16th-17th centuries, the Lyab-i Hauz Ensemble is a major square in Bukhara, popular for its grandeur, tranquility, and historical significance. It is located near the main trade street in the southeast shakhristan.

Bukhara - Enjoy a free morning or take an optional tour to the Bukhara countryside, including the Emir Summer Palace, Naqshbandi Mausoleum, and Samani Mausoleum.

Samarkand - In the afternoon, transfer to Bukhara Train Station in Kagan (10 km away) and take the bullet train to Samarkand (business class, subject to availability; if not, enjoy a free dinner). Upon arrival in Samarkand, transfer to your hotel.

Registan - Registan became the city square after life in Afrosiab ceased. It has been reconstructed multiple times and is now surrounded by the Ulugbek, Sherdor, and Tillokori medreses.

Gur Emir Mausoleum - The Gur Emir Mausoleum, the tomb of the conqueror Tamerlane, is a beautifully reconstructed site where visitors can reflect on his legacy. It houses the largest piece of jade in the world.

Shah-i-Zinda - The Shakhi-Zinda Ensemble, located on the southeastern mound of Afrosiab, consists of 44 tombs in over 20 mausoleums. It is significant for being the burial site of the Prophet Muhammad’s first cousin, who closely resembled him.

Bibi Khanym Mosque - Named after Timur’s wife and built between 1399-1404, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque is one of Central Asia’s most famous architectural landmarks. It was constructed on Timur’s orders after his campaign in Delhi.

Siab Bazaar - The Siab Bazaar in Samarkand remains as impressive as ever, showcasing Uzbekistan’s natural wealth and the talents of its people through its abundant produce and handicrafts.

Ulugh Beg Observatory - The observatory of Timur’s grandson, Ulugbek, is a remarkable site despite only its foundations remaining. Ulugbek’s contributions to astronomy and science were significant, and the observatory once housed a massive sextant.

Tashkent - Transfer to Samarkand Railway Station and take the bullet train to Tashkent (business class, subject to availability).
