This is a comprehensive private tour of Bruny Island.

We’re a small, family-owned operation. The island of Bruny is like our second home; we have spent our childhood there and have an extensive history and a rich network of associates and local suppliers.

We are eager to show you around our homeland and feel privileged to offer intimate private tours. Our small groups are limited between 2 to 10 guests for a personal touch, easy accessibility, and in-depth conversations and explanations.

We are attentive to our guest’s needs and provide a balanced approach to our day trips on Bruny Island. You’ll experience authentic wilderness landscapes, local food, and our rich heritage. Optional hikes to stunning coastal bluffs are on offer, or you can choose to follow a different path of history and gourmet food. Please specify your interests, and we promise to tailor your next Tasmanian journey to your preferences.

Local guide with deep connection to the island - We very much enjoyed a day trip with Ben, who has a very thorough knowledge and close connection to Bruny Island. Would highly recommend Ben and this tour - the morning tea and the location he chose for it is a real highlight.

Informative and comprehensive must do private tour of Bruny Island. - We enjoyed an informative and comprehensive tour around Bruny Island with Ben who is knowledgeable and a great story teller of historical interests of the island. Ben ensured all of our needs were met and included special touches like oyster tasting in a secluded spot, Ben drew on his intimate family experiences - what a day. Would highly recommend Ben and any of his private tours. We are planning on booking another tour with him in the future. The weather was kind to us for a winter visit to this island the photos don’t do it justice.

BEST LOCAL TOUR GUIDE FOR BRUNY ISLAND - Ben is the best local tour guide that you can find for Bruny Island, he grew in the Island and showed us the best kept secrets of Bruny Island, places for surfing, fishing and the best views. (where he used to go with his dad, and where he takes his kids now) We also went to the usual places, the neck, hiking, etc. Ben is really easy-going with an excellent sense of humor. He was very accommodating to our requests and he knows EVERYONE in the Island. He got us a private tour of the Bruny Lighthouse for 20 minutes with the guard, they even took us to the top of the lighthouse and we were able to get outside at the top of the lighthouse to see the views and feel the strong winds. We had a lovely lunch at the Winery. If you want a private tour of Bruny Island or any part of Tasmania we highly recommend Ben, you cannot go wrong with him. I wish there were more than 5 stars !!!!!

Idyllic time on Bruny Island - We did an overnight tour on Bruny Island with Ben/Adventure Trails Tasmania, and it was fantastic in every respect. Ben communicated with us extensively before our tour to make sure we'd see everything we wanted to see and to get an idea of how we wanted to pace our time on Bruny Island. He planned a complete range of experiences for us, from oysters to trails to time on the coast. He was a pleasure to work with and a complete delight as a tour guide and traveling companion. Ben is knowledgeable and efficient and thoughtful--truly everything about our time on Bruny was top notch. I can't recommend this experience highly enough.
