Must do! - Thank you Dave and Jess for this wonderful moment. The music, the atmosphere, the service, everything was top notch! The explanations about the region and the Maori Rock Carving designs were complete and very interesting. A must do absolutely 🤩

Don't be afraid to book this while solo travelling!! - It was such a lovely day not only because the weather was amazing! The guys were not only super kind but also made sure we got all out questions answered. We even did some fishing that day! Plus they invited us to stay on the boat even after the tour was over to sail with the next tour. we need more tourist guides like you! Thanks for everything :)

Relaxing way to spend time and appreciate the lake - Great service. Not rushed, just enough time to appreciate the lake. Skipper is very experienced so I felt safe throughout. Glad to support a local business.

Perfect for the whole family young and old. - We loved it. Usually the boat trips can get boring, but not with this one. There was always something happening. Instead of just going back after looking at the carvings, we went for a lovely swim and sailed for a bit. The whole thing was totally worth it. Will do it again.

You must sail on Taupo! - The entire experience from start to finish was fabulous. The weather, the boat, the pizza and beer, the briskness of the water, and of course, the guide Nathan! The carvings were awesome to see in real life and so close...you can't get the full appreciation of the carvings unless you get up close. Highly recommend. Did not disappoint.

Sooooo worth it! Great staff, awesome experience - This trip was amazing. The staff, Nathan and Danny, were funny, enthusiastic and fantastic. There was a variety of young solo travellers, older families and couples and everyone was friendly and having fun. Never felt too crowded on the boat. We did the sunset tour and was still warm enough to swim

A waste of time! - Total tourist waste of time. The carvings are only 40 years old, done to attract tourists. So nothing felt truly authentic. Why bother?
