Additional Information

Vardzia
This is a cave monastery location situated in the southern region of Georgia. Its primary construction phase was in the latter half of the twelfth century. Currently, it forms part of a state heritage reserve, and the expanded Vardzia-Khertvisi area is a potential candidate for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Rabati Castle
The castle, initially known as the Lomisa Castle, was established in the 9th century. The most preserved structures are from the 17th and 18th centuries. In May 2011, efforts were made to reconstruct the Rabati fortress. This process involved restoring and completing numerous buildings that had deteriorated over time.

Borjomi
Borjomi is a scenic resort town located in south-central Georgia, renowned for its mineral water - Georgia’s main export. It is also known for landmarks such as the Romanov summer palace and the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, a site recognized by the World Wide Fund for nature. Furthermore, Borjomi hosts the largest ecological amusement park in the Caucasus.
