Karen was a wonderful... - Karen was a wonderful driver and we were very comfortable traveling with him. This trip was an expedient way for us to travel between Tbilisi and Yerevon, and we enjoyed the sites we were able to see en route.

Good Experience - My driver Garnik was very friendly. He explained history, geography, culure, and many aspects of 3 countries. I know much better about the region now. His guide regarding pocedures of crossing the border was also appropriate . Iam satisfied with this tour.

Ride from Tbilisi to Yerevan - Our family really enjoyed getting from Tbilisi to Yerevan with our kind responsible and friendly driver Karen , he coordinated details well in advance and arrived on time to pick us . We had a comfortable ride , made a stop at a monastery on lake Sevan for sightseeing. Highly recommended !

Beautiful Martuni - Great service, excellent driver ... highly recommended. They were flexible and willing to make changes to the itinerary. Also, I left a personal item in the car, and they made an effort to get it back to me quickly and safely. A++

Fast and safe driver - Karen was a excellent driver, and very kind with the flexibility. Though originally planned to visit lake savan, but it was replanned another 2 churches. Though I was not able to check my old email, he understood and added lake savan as the one of original itinerary. Indeed I was able to have 3stops accidentally but he didn’t have any questions or complaints and keep nicer until the end of trip.

Ok transport experience - Overall the experience was fine, but there was a bit of a hiccup as Karen messaged the evening before departure to tell me he was sick. So, he passed my contact information onto another driver Yura to pick me up and take me instead. Unfortunately he didn’t really speak English so it was a bit challenging to communicate. Here are a few things to consider from my experience: - The car smelled of cigarette smoke. So if that bothers you, it would be good to confirm the vehicle ahead of time. The driver did not smoke in the car while I was in it, but as a non smoker it’s not pleasant. - It wasn’t super clear what was happening at the border. The driver just said “Passport office” and pointed for me to get out of the car. Turns out you need to get out and go through emigration from Georgia. The driver drives through the checkpoint and waits on the other side. Then you have to do the same on the Armenian side. - Driving in Georgia and Armenia seem to be quite aggressive. Passing on turns and hills, passing while cars are oncoming and generally speeding seem to be common and the driver drove like this for the trip. It was fine for me. But I could see that some people might get uncomfortable or worry about safety. - The route that we took in Armenia passed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border - which from my research is somewhere not recommended to go due to the military/security concerns related to conflict between the countries. We did not experience any issues or really encounter much of a military presence so in my case it was fine, but also something to consider. We stopped at each of the noted tourist stops, and they were worth the visit. All said and done the trip took about 7 hours and if you want to see some of the Armenian countryside, this is a good way to do it.

The good news; we arrived - We were a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. The good thing was the driver arrived on time and delivered us safely to our accommodations in Yerevan. Now the not so good; the van is a Mercedes transfer van as pictured, but it is either not the actual van pictured or is much older and has had body work/paint. The van was quite old and in disrepair. The windshield was cracked, the AC didn’t work well, the seats were broken and he had to use a screwdriver to move the middle seat to allow for back seat boarding, and several operational warning lights and alarms were illuminating and beeping. The driver kept dismissing the warnings, but on 3 occasions the driver had to pull over the car on the side of the road to rest the engine and restart the car because it was about to stall out, which was a little unnerving given we were in the middle of nowhere in a foreign land. The driver was not overly friendly at at all and seemed to be more annoyed than glad to have us as customers. We made the entire 7 hour journey in complete silence; no commentary, no music, no words from the driver. Even when the driver had to pull over to restart the car, he said absolutely nothing, which left us scratching our heads about what was happening. We did make 2 quick stops for photos at monasteries and 1 stop for a lunch as advertised.
