Small towns of Kakheti - Kakheti is a very picturesque wine region of Georgia. The one-day tour from Tbilisi included visits to small towns in this region. Along the way, we stopped several times for tasting: wines, honey, cherchekhela and bread. Sighnaghi is a small town famous for the fact that you can get married very easily and quickly. Telavi is also a small town that became famous because of the Soviet movie masterpiece Mimino. A tour of Kakheti leaves a very pleasant impression.

Magical and entertaining! - The highlight of the trip was Timur. His ability to get everyone entertained, laughing and engaged is commendable. We need more people like him in tours. How he keeps his energy high for the full 10 hours is just beyond me. Also, he made sure all cultures are being appreciated and recognized.

Wonderful group tour with Timur - The trip was very well organised. It was a full day tour. The journey was very comfortable. Our guide Timur was really amazing who kept us engaged throughout the trip by sharing the stories and history of the places on the way making the tour very interesting. He also shared real funny stories from his past tour experiences. He was very fluent in Russian and English and know many words in Hindi too. I would surely recommend all to take this group tour instead of private tour to make it very interesting and memorable at the same time you will get to meet new people across the world.

Interesting wine tasting trip but best to avoid from this tour - Irina from Imperial Tours helped me a lot even before I booked and was always ready to answer any of my questions even before I reached Georgia. George the tour guide for this trip was good. I just wish he would spend more time talking about other parts of the trip rather than only about wedding city and vagaries of marriage or Georgian women. I learnt much more about this trip from other tour guides in other trips than from George. The tour guide did not even offer water even though it was part of the tour. Also, the restaurant that this tour takes us for lunch is not worth spending a penny; too pricey and bland in taste and the service was pathetic even after 4pm as the food arrived way too late after ordering. P.S. we ordered vegetarian food.

Avoid! - Awful Kakheti tour! Totally disorganized, rushed us to shops instead of cultural sites. Tour was supposed to be Russian & English, but forget English - it was 90% Russian! Overbooked? They asked us to sit with the driver! They separated me and my partner, and when we tried to talk they'd shush us for the long Russian explanations. Avoid this company! Horrible experience

Not worth the travel time - Apart from the tour guide who was friendly, the tour was quite boring. Very long distances to cover to see very little (Eg traveling an hour and a half just to see an old tree). The tour was also a mix of English and Russian speaking tourists and it became chaotic between languages. There was no guidance given inside the monastery and we were left alone to figure it out. The lunch was a disaster as the restaurant the guide took us to was expensive, had poor quality food and the service was horrible (took 2 hours to prepare a dish) Trip seemed very commercial oriented with trying to get tourists to buy wine and bread from specific sites. All in all a waste of a full day from 9am to 8pm
