Translated as the ‘Fortress of the Lord’, Uplistsikhe is a fortress city within a cave, located on a rock massif on the Mtkvari River’s left bank. Established in the first to second millennium B.C., it was a significant cultural, political, and religious hub during the Hellenistic and late Antique periods.
The Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori celebrates the life of Stalin, a native Georgian who served as the Communist Party’s secretary-general during the Second World War and is recognized as a highly influential modern dictator. Highlights of the museum include Stalin’s birthplace - a small hut.
Situated atop a rocky hill overlooking the city of Gori, Gori Fortress is a medieval fortification in Georgia. Archaeological findings suggest that the location was inhabited even in the final centuries BC.
Borjomi, a scenic resort town nestled in south-central Georgia and bordering the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, is renowned for its mineral water - Georgia’s top export commodity.

Nice trip but the guide could be better. - The trip itself was ok. But we were not overly happy with the guide. I think he was very unexperienced, and did not have the ability to include everyone in the conversation. One Lady from Russia was taking over all the conversation in the car and that was only in Russian. We English speaking passengers did not understand anything and even after I told her to do it in English to include everyone she ignored me, and the guide just let her go on with her shenanigans. So with another more experience guide this could be a better trip for everyone.
