Incredible, lots of history and beauty. - The service was great. We missed the bus in Tel Aviv, because we couldn't get the Gett (uber de la). It was Friday, the day they don't work. We called Abraham and they picked us up at the Jordan border stop. We took a taxi there. It was expensive but we managed to visit Petra which is an unmissable tour

AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND WELL WORTH IT!! - This was an amazing trip and worth every penny! Everything was very well organized and we saw so much within such a short time. Abraham tors sent a PDF document ahead of time, so you knew what to expect at the border crossing, and everything was very clear once we got a cross into Jordan as well. Our tour guide, Madhi, was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable, open, and answered all of our questions…just an all around great guy and great guide! He also kept us moving at a pace that he knew would be ahead of the larger groups, so that saved us a lot of time. Group size was about 20. 10/10 recommend…if I had to to it again, I wouldn’t go through anyone else

Fantastic, well organised tour - Fabulous trip, very well organised! Border went very well. Everything explained. Don’t change money there as bad exchange rate, tour guide took money later in the day for Jordanian border visa. Lots of opportunities to change money on trip. If you get Madhi as tour guide you are in for a treat!! He made the trip for us. Bedouin camp was great, basic but comfortable. Petra was amazing, got the monastery & the caves & the scenery foto of the Treasury on the cliff done. Madhi explains so well about the time& helps you choose what you want to do. They take dollars& euros as well as Jordanian dollars of course in Petra. Food through out trip was plentiful & fine. Do this tour, you will not be disappointed, I recommend it 120 out of 100!!

Great tour - Great tour guide (Mahdi). Cool campground with beautiful views of rock formations, and exceptional food. And overall a highly recommended site visit. It’s a lot to pack in two days, but well worth the time and money.

Going to Petra - Our guide was informative and interacted well with everyone in the group. Everything was planned out & all that was advertised. The bus driver, too, was exceptional. It was a very international group and of all ages. Lots of fun and energy. The 2 days were filled with activities, with the second day being Petra. Amazing!

Amazing Experience - Highly Recommended - Definitely recommend this trip if you're around the Tel Aviv or Jerusalem area and want to see Petra! The guide and driver we had were amazing and gave us the perfect amount of time at our stops between a guided tour and free time at the stop. The guide also handled customs/border control on the Jordan side which was very helpful! Also, in Petra, the guide said you can't get to the Monastery if you do part of the guided tour with him (and don't get a donkey). This isn't necessarily true - as long as you're a decent paced walker, you'll have time to get to the Monastery as I had plenty of time to do the Monastery and another trail with his guided tour. A few recommendations to travelers looking to book this: - try to only take a backpack and leave all other luggage at Abraham hostel. I'm not sure if the hostel will store it for you if you're not staying any other night, but having luggage will cause a headache on the Israel side of the border (a few others from another group were stuck for over an hour because of their luggage). - Jordan side is very safe and accepts USD or Jordanian Dinar. Most places in Petra and service station stops will also accept Visa/Mastercard. - Most toilets in Jordan do not have toilet paper - so load up on tissues (provided on the bus) or bring a roll in your backpack. Only negative aspects of our trip or things I can recommend to Abraham tours: - Make it so anyone in the WhatsApp group can message the group rather than only admins. We were joining a group to go back to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv and some of the other group was stuck in Israel border control for over an hour. Our drivers disappeared and we had no way to contact Abraham to get a status update or what the plan was to see if we could take 1 bus to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv and the 2nd bus to wait for the delayed travelers. - It would be nice if the price of the tour included the entry/exit fees to Israel/Jordan. Just one less thing to worry about for travelers.

Did not meet expectations - We recently went on the Petra 2 day tour staying at a Bedouin campsite (Seven Wonders). Our experience was average at best. This trip is complicated due to the border crossing and having to utilize two different buses and drivers (on Israel and Jordan sides) and then picking up the Jordanian tour guide. However, there was a lot of confusion along the way and no communication. First, we arrived at a checkpoint where we waited about an hour and a half to pass. A lot of cars, trucks, tour buses crossing back and forth without any real organization. We then arrived at the terminal where we got off with our bags and had to pay the Israel exit fee. Here there were different lines, and a lot of confusion. It would have helped if the tour company explained this more clearly. We were first told to have cash to pay this, then the night before we receive an email to pay online. We would have saved time if all would have been required to pay online and just shown the receipt. To make things worse, one of our tour participants fell asleep on the first bus and did not get off at the terminal. The bus driver found out after he had left the rest of the group, but they decided to make the rest of us wait. This caused a 2 hour delay in our tour, which impacted the rest of our itinerary. Our tour guide on the Jordanian side was just ok. Not very enthusiastic. The Bedouin campsite was interesting to stay at and the staff was hospitable. However, the food was less than mediocre. Lastly, when we returned to Israel, we had to wait over 45 minutes at the terminal to be picked up. We called Abraham Tours several times to inquire about our driver and were given several stories until he finally arrived. Again, very unfriendly and without offering an apology. Petra is a place to visit without a doubt and very impressive. However, I would not recommend this tour operator.

My first and last trip with Abraham. - Excellent site, great guide and accommodation at the Bedouin Camp. But absolutely disastrous transfer from the border back to Tel Aviv. After touring the whole day, 6 hours on the bus, two hours crossing the border, the van driver didn’t even bother to identify himself to us. We were standing on the curb, making the calls to Abraham with no answers. And when, by luck, we found the van, we were sitting there for over an hour, tired, dirty, and hungry. No one told us anything, so we asked the driver. He angrily explain that we were missing two people from another tour that was running late! A better solution was to send us home and find another way to bring those two. A complete failure, in my opinion!
