Great way to experience the city - A really nice tour and an excellent way for some sightseeing and avoiding the big crowds. I went with my family and they all enjoyed the tour. They do a live commentary with lots of funny information about the sights. They even park the boat in front of the tower bridge so that everyone has a great opportunity for pictures.

Great way to sitesee on a pretty day! - We lucked out on a beautiful sunny day with perfect temperatures. We missed our 10am boat but another was along in 10 minutes so that wasn’t an issue. The trip was relaxing and informative. Our crew did a great job. Food & beverages were available for purchase. Sitting up top gave a great view for pictures. I would do this again and again! Be sure to bring cash for a tip or ask for the QR code.

Trip on the Thames - We just thought we were going on a ferry on the Thames, we weren't expecting the amazing, informative and funny commentary from crew member Dillian, it really made the trip so much more memorable. Thank you. Highly recommend to anyone with a sense of humour 👌

Fun Transportation! - The ability to hop off and hop on the river cruise was invaluable! We were able to cruise the river as well as have a way to get to the Tower of London for a tour and Greenwhich

nice relaxing boat ride - Glad we did this, don't remember the price, but I think it was essentially a very overpriced taxi, if you are only wanting to use it to get one end of the Thames to the other. However, we had a delightful narrator on our boat, funny, gave us some good history, it was a nice way to see things we otherwise wouldn't have made it to. Would recommend. Not fast, if efficiency is your goal, this isn't it. 40 minutes between boats seemed like a long wait. If you plan on "hop on, Hop off" at multiple piers, make sure you plan for lots of extra time. Didn't see a time table listed.

No heat on busses. Really Really Cold. - The buses were rerouted several times, because of protestors, which was not the fault of the tour company. We received an e-mail before we went that some of the stops would be closed. However, that seemed to change, by the minute, and no one told us, we weren’t going to the Cathedral. So, after three hours, we didn’t get to where we wanted to go. We would have gotten off much earlier if we had been kept apprised of the changed route.
Also, be aware that the busses are not heated (or at least ours wasn’t).

Customers not valued. - Excellent trip out to Greenwich in the morning. The return trip in the evening wasn’t very good at all. Due to lack of water on our 5.15 boat, we were disembarked at Tower Pier to get on the boat waiting for us - except there was no such boat. We were left on the pier for over 40 minutes without any seating, toilets or sufficient shade. No member of Citycruises staff was available to talk to us or offer a suitable apology. When we finally got back on a boat, there was insufficient acknowledgment of what had happened to us. I feel this was really poor show. Poor communications, negligent care of paying passengers and a remarkable lack of concern in regards to the reputation of Citycruises. It certainly did not impress the American tourists who were with us - well done incompetent Britain yet again!

good, but not great - The bus trip itself was good. HOWEVER, we purchased a 48 hour usage plan, and there were no buses available on one of the days. I would like a refund for the 24 hours we were not able to use the bus. Also, finding the bus stops was a challenge as they are not clearly marked. I read that complaint in previous reviews and totally agree with this problem.
