  • Imerovigli - Imerovigli village is built on the highest point of the caldera side. It is known as “The balcony to the Aegean” as it offers an amazing view of the Aegean sea. Due to its impressive landscape, Imerovigli is an ideal spot for pictures. The village’s most famous attraction is Skaros Rock where the ruins of the first medieval fortress have remained offering a scenic beauty.
  • Oia - The village of Oia, located in the north part of Santorini, is the most photographed place in Greece with the most astounding sunset and landscape. Its location allows you to admire another perspective of the volcano. Wander through the cobblestone and marble-paved alleys and immerse yourself in Santorini’s art galleries. Admire the architecture, the iconic windmills, the ruins of the Venetian castle of Agios Nikolaos, the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea as well as the famous sunset in Oia.
  • Red Beach - The Red Beach is the island’s most unique natural beach named by the red volcanic formations. The steep red hills and enormous volcanic rocks create a wild and captivating scenery. Take some time to take pictures of the red volcanic landscape contrasting the blue-colored waters.
  • Akrotiri Archaeological Site - The village of Akrotiri hosts an historical treasure, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. The Archaelogical site of Aktotiri is a 4000-year-old prehistoric Bronze Age city prospered for centuries before being eradicated by a great volcanic eruption and covered in ash. This volcanic ash has preserved the structures and artifacts allowing the visitor to marvel at this wonder of antiquity. Admire the artifacts, the modern drainage systems and the multi-story buildings from the bronze age.
  • Perissa Black Sand Beach - Perissa is the most famous black sand beach of Santorini. It offers a wide range of experiences for those seeking both sun-soaked relaxation and delectable cuisine. It is a fully organized cosmopolitan beach where you can relax on the sun-soaked black sand, soak up the Mediterranean sun and have a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy the option to dine in any of the numerous seaside restaurants and taste the local specialties.
  • Pyrgos - Optional visit: Pyrgos is the old capital of Santorini, also known as the island’s “historic monument”. This settlement is built on the top of a hill and is mostly famous for its well preserved 16th century Venetian Castle. The village is surrounded by blue-domed churches, vineyards, cave houses and narrow cobblestone paths leading up the hillside and galleries. Wander around the village and enjoy the traditional architecture.
  • Megalochori - Optional visit: Away of the hustle and bustle of the island, Megalochori is one of the most picturesque and peaceful villages of the island featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards and traditional architecture. This settlement is full of white painted houses, blue-domed churches and vineyards. Wander through the paved paths, explore the secret underground caves and take a picture of the famous Bell Tower.
  • Santo Winery - Optional visit: Santo Wines or Venatsanos Winery.
Santorini is widely known for its long wine-making tradition. The island is covered with vineyards and its volcanic soil and unique climate gives a special flavor to the grapes. The best service! Highly recommend it! - I traveled to Santorini for work and had limited time to explore the island. While I was looking for a tour to visit the must sees, a friend of mine suggested AMMO Transfers & Tours. The driver, Mario, is the best one out there. Friendly, cheerful and knowledgable. Everything was perfect. Nothing more to ask for. Many thanks to Mario for this amazing tour and experience.

Private car trip around Santorini. - From Fira, it was a small walk to very nice, clean BMW. Mario was our guide. A young charming man, very chatty and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasant drive in the sunshine and the car was well driven at a sensible speed. We stopped at a photo spot and then onto Oia. We spent an hour there, walking around and having a drink at a restaurant. A short call to Mario and he picked us up within 5 minutes. A drive along the coast with more commentary, dropped off at convenient point. A very nice and rememberable trip, thank you.
