A Great Way to Experience the Xian region! - Michael was a wonderful guide, and he really helped us to get to know the culture, history and food of Xian. My wife and 21 year old son really enjoyed our time here. From the Terra Cotta Warriors to Mount Huashan, it was an incredible experience.

Fantastic tours in Xian - My husband & I booked LilySun's Tours for our 4 days in Xian. Our guide, Jackie, was excellent. He spoke very good English, kind, punctual and took us to try the local cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. He ensures that our tour runs very smoothly. He looked after us well on our day trip to Huashan. The driver of the tour is also very good and careful. Our tour also include a day in Louyang which was well planned with a guide, Frank. We highly recommend Lily Sun's Xian Tours and specially, Jackie as a guide. We had a very enjoyable & memorable trip in Xian.

Meeting all exepctations - Having read reviews of other customers, then finally experienced it, I agree that Lily’s tour is the ONE YOU MUST GO With; with Cathy (Xian-Terracota warrior) and Frank (LuoYang - Shao Lin temple) as the guides. Schedules were finely planned, revealing how experienced they have been. As per priorities, The terracota is the money shot, the world’s eighth wonder. Rest assured that Cathy will explain to you every single detail of the treasure. On top, She knows in details of history of China: the dinasties, emperors and empresses, even dramas behind love stories with emperors’ concubines. Such a lovely storyteller she is. Foods! Ask Cathy to guide you to find local foods. Better taste and less expensive! Amazing! I and my friend were satisfied with the savory local delish. And Frak gave a 5 star recommendation to eat at the Shao Lin temple “restaurant.” Wonderful to eat foods that the monks similarly eat. Being Vegatarian for one time in the mids of oily Chinese foods. Cathy and Frank, the guides, are exceptionally good English speakers. They are provenly fluent, making our journey even more smooth as none of our group members speak Mandarin. I have no doubt to recommend highly this 3-day tour (teracota - shao lin temple - Xi’an city historical exploration and foods) to anyone planning to visit Xian.

Worth every penny! - My friend and I opted for the 3 Days Xian plus Shaolin temple tour. On the first day the highlight was Terracota Warriors, our guide Cathy was very knowledgeable and ran us through the historical stories on the Qin dynasty, including the details such as palace conspiracy & politics on that time. Don’t forget to buy terracota models with certificate at the museum. For lunch we had the longest noodle (“belt noodle”) in our lives at a nice local restaurant she recommended, very memorable. In the evening we got a special price from Lily for the Tang Dynasty Dinner for 16 dumplings banquet plus an exquisite dance and musical show (must-see). Next day Shaolin temple’s kungfu show blew our minds! Martial artists use their qi gong to strengthen their body parts and gracefully wield their weapons. Frank, our guide in Luoyang, showed us to the temple’s vegetarian restaurant, and we ordered a 2 person package for a reasonable price. The soup especially, was marvelous. Last day we did the city tour to Muslim Street where the Huy tribe flurorished and Wild Goose Pagoda that was the inspiration for the tale “Journey to The West”. Worth every time and every penny. Highly recommended👍🏻

Great tour company in Xi'an - My husband and I booked Lily's Tours for our stay in Xi'an. Our guide, Cathy was very kind and accommodating. She was more than willing to help us in any way possible, even after the tour was over. For example, she went to a market with us to help us with finding a place to eat. We spent three days seeing the city and climbing Mt. Huashan. We also booked a tour to Luogang with Lily's Tour. Our guide Cecelia was absolutely amazing. My husband forgot his phone on a bench and when we returned it was gone. Cecelia knew many people in the area and her quick action made it possible to recover the phone. She told us many wonderful stories about her childhood and how things have changed in China throughout her life. She also was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and spoke English very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her and would highly recommend going to Longmen Grottoes, which was the highlight of our trip. Lily also took time to meet us at our hotel to make sure things were going well. She was helpful from the booking process and throughout the trip. I even paid the entire booking fee online before the trip so we would not have to worry about payment when we arrived. Lily arranged car transfers to and from the airport and we had the same driver for the whole week.

Great Private Tour Organised! Ask for Michael When In Xi'An - Planning a holiday with parents from both sides are always a challenge. However, engaging Lily's Private Tours was the best decision. It freed up so much of my time just to plan for activities. Lily did all the custom itinerary planning for us and we managed to book a private mini bus to ferry 6 people around. Michael was our guide in Xi'An and he was amazing! Very personable, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable. Went out of his way to organise for meeting points when one side of the party wanted to rest while the other wanted to explore. Running up and down to ensure both sides are well taken care of. Brought us around places of interest and even bought us snacks! We greatly enjoyed our trip in Xi'an all thanks to Lily and Michael. *Ps: Michael takes good photographs as well. He pretty much took all our group photos for us.
