Wonderful tours with an amazing guide - From the end of December 2023 to the beginning of January 2024 I used Dori as my guide for most of my sightseeing tours in Albania. When I first inquired about his tours, he responded immediately and made it extremely easy to make reservations. I took day tours to Berat, Apollonia and Bashtova (fortress), as well as overnight tours to Southern Albania (Butrint, Saranda, Gjirokastër, as well as some lesser-known small towns on the way) and Ohrid (Ohrid town in North Macedonia as well as some nearby villages around Ohrid lake in both North Macedonia and Albania). All of these tours were extremely memorable and amazing. I really enjoyed all of them. Dori was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, as well as an extremely safe driver. He always provided many interesting facts about all of the places we visited as well as facts about places we would pass by on the road. I never felt rushed at any time I was visiting any of the sites. He also takes really good photos (I always like having photos of myself at the sites I visit). In addition, Dori always showed me things that were lesser known (whenever there were any), which added to the experience. Albania is a very underrated country. It has so many interesting sites and places to visit. The people are very welcoming and friendly, and I always felt very safe in all the places I visited. Also, be sure to visit one of the Communist era bunkers if you are able to. There are thousands of them throughout Albania and they are extremely interesting. I could not have had a better guide than Dori and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Albania. You will not be disappointed!

We are a group of 3 couples who went to Northern Greece, Zagoria to celebrate 70 years. We hired Dori's services. Despite Dori's Albanian origins, he is fluent in English and Greek (speaking, writing and reading). Dori knows how to say the right words in Hebrew at the right time, good morning, how are you..... something that was important to us since we do not speak/understand Greek. During the planning of the trip, we received several options from Dori, the contact with him was via WhatsApp (writing and speaking in English). He was always available, explored what our expectations were and showed great sensitivity to Judaism. Dori was waiting for us at the airport in Thessaloniki and from here the trip flowed according to the plan that every evening we received information about what was going to happen the next day and if necessary he showed flexibility regarding any changes we wanted. We saw almost all the famous stone bridges of the Zagoria district, we visited the waterfalls and the beautiful villages of Zagoria, we saw the Vikos Canyon from several impressive angles, we were in Meteora and we ended up in the Olympus reserve. Dori knew about every synagogue in the area and the history behind it. Dori showed great proficiency, it is difficult to describe Dori's investment in everything. Literally everything. In taking care of every detail, in content and knowledge, in the layout of the geographical, ethnic and historical background of each site, in adjusting the difficulty of the tour to the ability of the group, to arrival and departure from the hotel, to meals, to coffee, he really took care of us like a family, and all with a smile, with humor, with humanity. Beautiful Balkans - Dori was the best! He took care of everything, and we were left amazed with this country’s beauty and history. He navigated the traffic and the terrain with experience and ensured ever need was met. Not only did he know the landmarks and history, but it felt like he knew all the locals and had an inside track on the best shops, hotels, and food as well. Being our first family trip to Europe, I was not sure what to expect. I was expecting the unknown and to be uncomfortable. Instead, I felt at home. I was able to relax and enjoy myself. My wife and kids had a wonderful time as well. I even caught my teenage son smiling multiple times! It was amazing trip and Dori was a huge part of making it so successful. I would recommend him without any reservations!

Albania, Macedonia, and Greece trip - Dorian Disha was a fantastic tour guide, his knowledge of Albania, Macedonia, and Greece is beyond anything I ever studied in History classes. We traveled to old Albanian castles specifically in Gjirokaster. Dory did a great job explaining the layers of the castles and all the history behind who used the castle and the time it was used in. He did an excellent job showing old bunkers used in Albania during the time of the communist regime. I felt very safe going around Albania with Dory his driving experience is out of this world, the way he maneuvered out of traffic is something I have never seen before, he deserves 10 out of 5 on his driving. His Macedonia, Albanian, and English are extremely well for being in an all-speaking Albanian country and I enjoy talking and learning about History with him. If you need a guide for your trip to the Balkans I would highly recommend you talk with Dory and plan your trip.

Cook up a trip with Dori - About eight days in an exclusive circle in Albania, Europe's most closely guarded secret. Our deal was "We want to see what you want to show us." There was not a single disappointing moment! Roasted goat kid shoulder in the mountain pass. Exotic cold water white fish by Lake Ohrid. Roast wild boar. A pair of custom dress shoes from a cobbler. Visited the tomb of the Unknown General. And everywhere we went, Dori was known as a friend. I eventually called him 'the man who knew everyone." Archeologists kept the collection open beyond hours. Museum curators escorted us. Hotels were immediately open and joshing with Dori. Is the best driver I ever rode with.

Excellent Tour with Friendly and Knowledgeable Guide - I went on a 3 day tour of the region with Dorian. We visited a couple sites in Kosovo (Prizren, Decani Monastery) and North Macedonia (Skopje, Ohrid). He was a very professional guide, and I learned a lot during this time. He is fun, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the Balkan region and its history. I had such a good time that I arranged another day trip to Kruja Castle with him later in the week. I recommend him to anybody traveling in the area.

Ground trip through Albania - Dorian Disha was a highly competent and sympathetic guide and a very safe driver. He speaks very good English and knows a lot about the country and the history. We traveled with him for 15 days through whole Albania including side trips to Kosovo and North Macedonia and we had a very good time. He picked us up in Saranda and brought us back 15 days later to reach the ferry to Korfou after a unforgettable trip.

Exellent!! - We were a group of 8 women traveling in Albania for 10 days. We had great time thanks to Dori. He was very patient,and attentive. Although we had a lot of demands he tried to do his best to please us. We will travel with him again for sure. Dori is the most recomended guide for Albania and the Balkans.n

wonderful, amazing, fare and knowledgeable guide - Dorian was wonderful, amazing, fare and knowledgeable guide. Dorian guided us 9 days at Albania, Kosovo and Macedonian. Travel to Albania was one of the best we did. Our group was 5 people, same family, ages 50-60. Usually we renting a car and touring the aria, at Albania we decided to take a driver, and it was great! The trip was peaceful and we enjoyed it very much. Dorian took care of everything, starts with the arrangement of the tour, and left us very happy at airport. He ordered us great hotels, took us to delicious restaurants, and arranged the day’s trip, with us the way we wanted. Dorian is knowledgeable guide, he knows the history of Albania and the Balkan aria, and he told us many interesting stories, his love to Albania and the Albanian people is adorable, beside the pleasure of the tour we felt in love with Albania.
