Highlights
  • Parrish Park - Our guides will take you on a beautiful night time adventure into Bioluminescence on the Indian River Lagoon. You will learn to paddleboard with our instructors as the sun sets and creates a beautiful palette of pinks, oranges and blues.

We paddle out to horseshoe crab island and watch the sun set on another day in paradise. Explore the island with your group and meet new friends.

After the sun sets, the magic of bioluminescence begins. It’s hard to describe the beautiful colors of bioluminescence. The fish glow as they swim below your paddleboard or kayak. It’s an incredibly magical experience.

Additional Information

Twilight Tranquility & Bioluminescence Journey
Our congenial professionals lead a serene sunset standup paddleboard or kayak venture on the Indian River Lagoon during twilight hours. An exploration of Horseshoe Crab Island is part of the fun too!

We will be on the lookout for horseshoe crabs, dolphins, manatees, and other fascinating underwater residents while the sun lowers below the horizon.

As darkness envelops us, we will continue our voyage under the starlit sky, the waters below illuminated by the glow of bioluminescent dinoflagellates.

Stars & Luminescence Night Viewing
As the night engulfs us at this start time, the stars twinkle brightly against the dark canopy, complemented by the glittering bioluminescence beneath us. We advise to have a stargazing application handy for discovering the heavenly constellations.

For BOTH experiences:
We strongly advocate using one of our robust paddleboards to experience this breathtaking adventure. It offers a unique perspective to observe the underwater world beneath you. Alternatively, for a more intimate experience with the lagoon, you can choose to sit and soak in the surroundings from our transparent kayaks. We also offer clear paddleboards!

A can't miss excursion - I had booked a few excursions for our visit to Florida.. this was by far our favorite. The peace of kayaking out at 10:30pm to the little island, seeing my kids play in the water and the beauty of nature made this so memorable. I've already recommended it to everyone I've spoken to. The guides were also knowledgeable and fun

Amazing experience! - Patrick and Karissa were awesome! A couple of North Dakota newbies, and they were able to get us on the water and out on our own! An experience we will never forget!

Super fun - Bryce and Red are great tour guides. The bay was cool and worth the trip! The moon was small so the glow was bright. Clear kayaks were also really cool.

Impressive - Together with our 6-year-old daughter, we had a wonderful canoe trip late in the evening. The guides were very considerate and accompanied us brilliantly. It is an impressive nature experience, even for children.

Challenging and Fun - The rain killed the cool part of the water but still was challenging and fun! Great group of people and our 3 guides (Bryce, Phil, Red) were cool. Red seemed more personable to us but all were great!

No bioluminescence - It would have been perfect if we got to see some of the crustaceans that would make the water appear blue. They kept telling us that every night this past week how spectacular it has been but nothing happened on the night we went.

A lot of work - It was cool to see the bio luminesces but it was a bit of a paddle. I am not in the best shape but the pace the lead guide paddles at left 5 boats behind and two had to be towed. I understand the guides are on a timeline. But man, wish I knew how much physical work it is. And from the two being towed I can imagine they feel the same way. The dolphins right by the dock and rocket launch were the best thing to see. Suggestion: Sonny, slow down. We all know you are a great paddler and the water is only three feet deep. But put your vest on like the other guides and guest. In the end I do suggest this company. Just beware on the physical work it takes. Guess I have to get back in the gym.
