Cerro Cristo Rey - Tamesis - Cerro Cristo Rey is located in the western mountain range of Colombia in the Garden-Tamesis Blade.
The Christ from the pedestal to the top measures 11 meters, the pedestal measures 4 meters.
We went up the road that took 3 years to build. The pieces of the Christ were raised on the back of a mule where 500 people participated in this work.
The tour begins in the Botanical Garden, passing through two petroglyphs that are found on some emblematic rocks along the way. Then we go up a paddock where you can see the fall of La Peinada Waterfall, then we follow the stone path until we reach the first station of the cross where there is a cross and later we will arrive at Cristo Rey where we can see the valley of the Cartama River where we can see the Cauca River, Poblanco River, Cartama River and Buey River and also when it is clear you can see the cap of Nevado del Ruiz or what remains of it. You can also see other municipalities such as Aguadas, Valparaiso, La Pintada, El Cerro El Burro and also Los farallones de la pintada.
At the top we can enjoy a delicious typical Tamesino cold cut stored in a banana leaf.

Thames, due to its geographical location, is unique. From Cerro Cristo Rey, which is the highest part of the mountain range, you can see the entire Cartama River Valley and the Cauca River.
No other site has such a wonderful view. The mountain range that protects Támesis is visualized as a large wall where the sun hides in the afternoons.
In the upper region of the hill or Morro Cristo Rey is the Fog Forest with a different variety of native species of trees, animals and plants.
