Wonderful family day trip - Giannis was an awesome guide. He picked our family up right outside the cruise security point - easy to find! His van was clean, the AC was cold, and he gave us all giant bottles of water. But listen, the cave was super cool. You do have to walk up about 250 steps to see it, so be prepared. Giannis was also more than happy to stop at any roadside stands, etc. OK, the good part- Elafonisi Beach is like something from a postcard. It was such a beautiful, clean beach. A bit crowded, but the view and the crystal clear water made up for it. There are food vendors along the beach. Again, you will have about a 10 minute walk down a gravel path, so be prepared for that too. We loved this day. Giannis was extremely friendly, and I would 100% recommend this day trip to anyone!

Stunning Elafonissi beach - The tour to Elafonissi was fantastic and unforgettable. Thank you Michail for being an excellent tour guide and exceptional compny through out the whole journey and our departure transfer. Much appreciated for providing the umbrella and water. The tour involved visiting the breathing Agia Sofia Cave and the lovely coffee break there. There are 275 stairs to go up to the cave and the church but absolutely worth it, you won't want to miss this one out.

Easy way to explore Elafonissis and more - Our family of 4: We were picked up from our hotel at the time as agreed and confirmed by sms, had a fantastic day visiting Agia Sofia cave, the Olive Tree and a full afternoon at the amazing Elafonissis beach. The sand was pink! Michael, our chauffor and guide, was good to tell about the area and places of interests, but also a good and careful driver in the mountain roads which we Scandinavians are a bit cautious about. A great day to explore much without too much hassle.

5 Stars, 10/10 would recommend! - What an amazing day it was ! The city of Chania was very unique experience. We saw the best side of both the mountains and the beach. Our tour guide Michail was exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, specially that he is a local of the Island. We stopped by a cave in the mountains that dates to 1,500BC was so cool to see. Than we went to Elafonisi beach which was hands down one of the best beaches globally that i have been to. Overall 100% satisfied with this tour, highly recommended !

Day trip to Elafonisi Beach - Me & my family got to experience the pink sands of Elafonisi & it’s beautiful clear pools. Michail picked us up from our Villa in Kalyves & dropped us off as close as possible to the beach. Likewise for the return trip. I’d highly recommend booking this trip with Michail. Very friendly & reliable service.

Be prepared before you go… - We were staying in Chania, so it’s a very long drive. When we got there, all the chairs were taken and so we had to lay on our towels on the sand, fine for younger people. The water was lovely and views were very nice but the beach was super crowed, towel to towel on the sand - thank goodness our driver gave us an umbrella. Be aware, you must also walk 10 very hot minutes to the beach, cars are not allowed. Our driver did stop at the caves on the drive, which was very cool and the scenery during the drive was beautiful, but again, a long drive, a long walk, and a crowded beach.
