The Royal Ontario Museum is one of the most fascinating and comprehensive museums I've ever seen - The Royal Ontario Museum was the last place I visited during my Toronto trip, and it sent me home on a high note. I spent about 4 hours exploring all of the exhibits in the Museum and I honestly could have spent even more time there if possible, but I was able to see everything. My favorite exhibits were the Dinosaurs, the Egyptian, and the Ancient Chinese exhibit. I was also lucky enough to go when the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit was open. Some of those pictures were so wildly vivid that I thought I was inside of the photo! The staff was very helpful and there are free maps available near the entrance that help guide you through the entire Museum. It reminded me a lot of the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, which is my all time favorite museum. Thank you Royal Ontario Museum for a 5 star historic museum experience!

Well done and worth the admission and the visit. - The various exhibits were really outstanding—informative, well organized and some were truly inspirational. For those who have not been to China, korea, Egypt or Greece, the museum offers a lot of insight into those civilizations. I applaud the museum for the care that they provide the mummies and the reminders to viewers to treat these persons with respect.

You should go Ontario Museum if you come to Toronto - It was incredible. I've been here alone and I looked at the exhibition and the interior space. When I arrived here, I wanted not to move a muscle as I really liked this place including the exhibition. The exhibition was related to death. The design of the building which was built by Daniel Libeskind was interesting.

Very good - This is a vast interesting museum. Be prepared for lots of walking and achy feet. There are many interesting things to see for most ages, best for children over age 5.

Great Experience. Lots of things to do - A great museum with a nice layout. There are more than enough artifacts and exhibits on display to keep you entertained for hours. My Personal Favourite was the wildlife photography exhibit. Great Experience overall

A must visit. - It’s a very nice museum with a nice layout and flow. I never felt over crowed, even with an elementary school there on a trip. Nice information and loved the holistic approach of the audio tour.

Try to go during the week to avoid the kids. - Museum was great. Good way to burn about 2 hours. Lots to look at. Went on a Saturday early afternoon. Lots of young children running around with parents chasing them. Nearly took out several little tykes around blind corners. If you can, go during the week to avoid it.

Nice museum, lots of variety and good location - An interesting and quite large place. It takes time to go through it. If you go with small children, they might get bored or want to visit only certain rooms (like the dinosaur room). I found the mineral room very interesting, although there is much more. There is a lack of good food service, the soda that is available is average and below.
