Fabulous Day - We had such a great time on this tour! Alex is fabulous and obviously has a great passion for the mangrove forests. We learned so much about these plants and their importance and even got to help spread seeds to an area that had been beaten down by past hurricanes. It was a GREAT day and I cannot recommend Alex and this tour highly enough!!!

Fun learning experience for me and my teen! - What an amazing experience! We've always wanted to see the mangroves that serve as a nursery to so many marine life. Alex was an amazing guide, passionate about the mangroves and their importance. If you live being in nature and learning about important ecosystems, check it out! You won't be sorry. I'm pretty out of shape with a bigger body and didn't have any trouble really. Hardest part was getting in and out of the kayak.

Excellent excursion - Very fun excursion off a cruise ship. We were on 1:30 tour and made it back to port in plenty of time. Alex was amazing. He clearly loves this natural wonder. We hit low tide, but he still got us through which made it that more memorable. I actually got to walk some of the mangroves. If you are active, don’t miss it!

Skip Cruise Ship Excursions-do this!!! - Alex was absolutely wonderful as a guide. We decided to skip the excursions the cruise ship offered and look on Viator. I’m so glad that we did. Prior to booking we saw all of the glowing reviews Alex had. He is so personable and full of knowledge. One other group from our cruise came as well. It ended up being just 9 of us in total. It was such a great time paddling through the mangroves. I easily could have spent another hour out there. Our driver Derek was great too!!

Great way to spend a morning - Really unique and educational experience! Note that it can be a pretty active experience, the wind/swells were pretty high the day we went and we had to paddle hard! My 13 yo old daughter was able to fully participate and really enjoyed the 'hands on' experience as an alternative to lounging on the beach one day. Recommend if you're interested in the educational aspect and are looking for a way to be active and learn more about the local ecosystem.

Beautiful tour - This a great experience for our families and kids (ages 8-13). Beautiful scenery and very educational. The cab ride over from the port was also great sightseeing on the island. Would highly recommend this excursion!
