  • キモノヨロズ屋 迦穏亭 Kimono Yorozuya Kanontei - Kaon-tei, a traditional Japanese house built 78 years ago just after the war, is one of the oldest in the heart of Toyama City. Inside, you can embark on a nostalgic journey, experiencing the essence of Japan from the past.

  • Itachi River - Along the Itachi River, you’ll find Jizo statues that date back 250 years, erected in hopes of recovery from an epidemic caused by a major earthquake. Some statues are accompanied by wells with water from the melting snow of the Tateyama Mountain Range. The riverside promenade is meticulously maintained by local residents. Within walking distance from the city center, it’s a perfect spot to stroll in a kimono, enjoying both natural beauty and the rhythm of daily life. If you’re lucky, you might even get to walk with our mascot dog, a Shiba Inu!

The Kaon-tei (KIMONO shop), constructed just after the end of World War II (78 years old), is one of the oldest Japanese houses in the heart of Toyama City. Inside the shop, you can experience a time-traveling Japan while having a KIMONO fitting.
