The castle built in a Gothic style is underlined by tall towers decorated with dragons carved in stone, seemingly taken out of a fantasy novel. A fascinating and informative introduction to Transylvania. - The tour was very well organised. We never felt rushed because we had plenty of time to visit the different places we stopped off at. Our guide, Catalin, made it clear we could extend or shortern the visits as we wished. He was very knowledgeable across a range of subjects from geology to history and was always ready to answer our questions. The hotels we stayed at were very comfortable and perfect for a rest after a day's touring. We would definitely recommend this tour and Rolandia to anyone asking for our advice.

So glad I did this! - I thought about trying to see Transylvania on my own but I’m so glad I did this tour instead! The itinerary is very well thought out , the guide was great, the hotels were perfect. The company is very responsive and helpful. I also booked a custom 1 day tour after this tour ended to see more things and that was great too. If I ever come to Romania again I will book with Rolandia!

Best possible tour of Romania - Absolutely great time with Rolandia in Romania’s Transilvania last month. From start to finish, Adelina, Rolandia’s agent, made our trip seamless and enjoyable. Our guide, George, went out of his way to help our traveling companions locate their lost luggage and he showed us many unforgettable sights. I have no hesitation in recommending Rolandia to anyone who wants to see Romania in depth.

Personalized journey to Transylvania - Nicu Apostol and Iulian Aruxandei arranged a four-days trip around Transylvania for me and I can only praise their efficiency and professionalism. Visiting Transylvania's castles and medieval cities is something I wanted to do since a long time, but my vacation days are limited, so travelling solo by train, for example, wouldn't have allowed me to see so much in a few days. My guide was Marcel and I was blown away by his knowledge of history, culture and infinite fun facts, not only about the main tour destinations but also about places we were driving through. We also had to deal with the weather and winter-schedule limitations, but if we couldn't make it somewhere, I was proposed an alternative, which was at least as nice as what was initially planned. This way I visited places I would'nt have seen otherwise and had the opportunity to exchange with local people. In summary: Rolandia is great if you want to visit Romania, you can fully rely on their team to organize the tour of your dreams.
