Overpriced for the quality - We were so excited for this tour but unfortunately it was not great. Our guide smoked CONSTANTLY and drove quite aggressively. We had to wait for the train to pass at a rail crossing and he got out of the car to smoke - in the middle of the road. He seemed kind of disinterested in the tour and provided only basic information. I suppose that is ok, but we had other tour guides in Bucharest which were absolutely amazing - fun, super knowledgeable, with great visual aids - this experience was a stark difference from that. The English speaking was mid. We had to stop in Ploiești (quite close to Bucharest) to fill up the car with gas, which is not a big deal, but for the price, I would expect the guide to show up in the morning with the car filled up and ready to go I appreciated the convenience of having a driver to take us to Peleş and Târgovişte on the same day as I am not sure we could have fit these destinations on the same day if we took the train. But if I had the time, I would have preferred to take the train and see these sights on my own and read about them. The information presented on the tour was quite limited.
