Ernest as our tour guide... - Ernest as our tour guide and driver did a very good job in hosting a van of 9-10 people. He multitasked by driving safely, delivering us to points punctually and kept us entertained with many Slovenian fun facts.

Amazing day! Highly recommend. - We had a wonderful day from start to finish. The tour company was responsive by email. Our driver Ernest (Ernie) arrived early at the meeting point with a smile, and we left on time at 8am. He spoke excellent English and gave us just the right amount of history. He recommended we visit Ljubljana first and then go to Lake Bled because of the traffic, and we think this was an excellent decision. The city of Ljubljana was lovely and we took the funicular up to see the castle and then back down to enjoy a nice beverage along the water. Then we went on to Bled arriving around noon and had 3 hours to relax and see the area. We took the “pletna” across the lake to the church which was very peaceful. Then we headed back and had a nice lunch including the famous “cream cake” as recommended by Ernie. The ride back to Trieste was comfortable, and Eddie knew when to let us nap and when to wake us up with his humor! It was a fantastic day, and we were dropped off about 515pm. I would use this company again if I come back. Slovenia is a beautiful country.

Visiting the jewels of Slovenia - We had a wonderful tour with our host Dean. We enjoyed visiting both Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Whilst it would have better to have a longer stay, it was not possible due to the time limitations. Dean was very knowledgeable and we have no hesitation doing another tour with him.

Great guide and beautiful city - Lake Bled is pretty but Ljubljana more interesting and the better part of the trip. Ernest is very knowlegable with fluent English and a sense of humour making the travelling very pleasant. We didn't mind having to walk to the departure point. It saved time overall as the traffic on the main highway can be very heavy and slow. The only negative is that Ernest had to speak loudly in the van and it was still not easy to catch everything he said in the back row at 100 kmh. They should provide him with a headset and microphone feeding the rear speakers - not difficult or expensive to do and easier on both guide and guests.

Beautiful Excursion - Slovenia is a beautiful place!! We had a wonderful day on this excursion. Very well organized and really enjoyed the small group.

Beautiful Lake Bled - Lake Bled is absolutely beautiful! I wish we had more time there to enjoy all the lake had to offer. It was over an hour drive to get there, but we’ll worth it!!

Viator guide never showed up. - The Viator Tour guide never showed up to pick us up. Koper tours with guide Ernest was able to fit us in his tour. For tours in Trieste you can book directly with Koper Tours which is exactly what we did for the tour of the caves and castle. Ernest is a personable guide and really knows Slovenia. I am giving 5 stars to Koper Tours. 0 stars for Viator.

Fabulous tour. - Lake Bled was a must see. Absolutely beautiful and lunch in Ljubljana was fabulous. Our guide Dean was extremely good and did everything possible to make it a great day.

Interesting tour that could have been better. - Lake Bled is beautiful and we would have liked to have stayed longer and not felt so rushed to leave ; however, we were also very disappointed that the vendor didn’t keep in touch via text about the pick up spot due to the extreme traffic conditions related to the G7 Education Summit. We had to walk a bit to the Piazza Venezia and weren’t even sure we were in the right place. Due to the traffic conditions that day, the tour left late and impacted our schedule. We even thought we might have missed the tour completely. There was no ongoing communication from the vendor. The van held 8 people and there was no rotating of seats. Three folks were stuck in the back row all day. Ljubljana is an interesting city, but it was very crowded and difficult to navigate in the heat. The sightseeing train ride in the plaza would have been a fun addition. I’d
