Snorkeling tour in Tobago - So, we were very excited about this trip to start with. Unfortunately, a few things disappointed us. First off, we started our hour tour 40 mins late. Then we found out that most ppl had paid 40$ while we paid 101$ because we booked ahead. Not impressed. Then, at the end, the captain was supposed to drive us back to the port. We waited 25 mins while he cleaned up his boat. Then, we rode in the back seat with a gas can right behind my head so I smelled gas fumes the whole way back. Very uncomfortable. The excursion itself was pretty good. We didn’t really go all the way to the nylon pool because the boat got stuck on the reef. We swam there, so not a big deal for us, but most ppl could not. The people were very nice, we just had some disappointments along the way.

be careful of conmen - This place is full of practicing conmen, like Island man tours. They promise you that your party will be the only ones on the boat. They let you board first and then you notice the other people coming onboard. You then realize that you have been conned. Never board first until you see that you are getting what you were expecting. From talking to people, Cool Runnings might be a good operator or Miss Ayana. Don't be too bothered if you don't go on this trip ... there's hardly any fish or coral to see ...

winter get away. - We took a glass bottom boat ride and snorkel trip to Buccoo Reef Jan 2024. My husband and I have snorkeled in the Red Sea, Belize, Cook Islands and Roatan. We were shocked to see the coral along Buccoo Reef was gray and white. It was dead or dying. There was hardly any fish to be seen. We used Captain Phillips tours to go see the reef. Not their fault the reef is dead or dying. Global warming is no joke. It maybe to late for this reef.
