Spend an exciting, full day immersed in the highlights of the island, guided by an experienced Caribbean Horizons tour conductor. We begin by driving through the picturesque west coast towards Gouyave, a fishing town known to be the home of Kirani James, a three-time Olympic medalist, and the processing center for Grenada’s Nutmeg at the Gouyave Nutmeg Station. Here, you’ll understand why Grenada is famously named the Spice Isle. A visit to the Diamond Chocolate Factory allows us to taste some exquisite Jouvay Chocolate. We then enjoy a lunch at Belmont Estates plantation, known for its scrumptious dark chocolate. We proceed to the island’s most northern point in St. Patrick, and visit Carib’s Leap, a key historic site in Sauteurs. Sampling 200-year-old River Antoine Rum distillery-made rums at a local shop adds to the fun. As we pass the eastern coastal Grenville town, we traverse the mountains rising to 1900ft above sea level, leading us through the remote Grand Etang rainforest, the habitat of the Mona monkey. Fun and enlightening - Fantasiac views and beautiful country. Our Guide was Tony who kept the trip interesting and fun. Providing us many facts about the history, culture and everyday life of Grenadeans. My favorite part was the chocolate tour, tasting a cocao bean flesh and learning about the different locations. Also the other Rum distillery tasting tour. This was a great tour and I suggest bringing your questions and a towel for the waterfall.

Fantastic way to see the island - This is truly the best way to see the island! We were able to see all but one of the parishes! I enjoyed getting to see different parts of the beautiful island of Grenada. I can’t think of a better island tour that is as comprehensive! Highly recommend!

A full day of fun - Dwight Gibbs our tour guide and driver is a well known athlete from the island and a great driver, very knowledgeable and not shy! The bus was great for a very full day. I was able to get a monkey to come out of the trees which jumped into my back, was lots of fun.

Fabulous and informative. - The entire tour was fantastic. The sights and experiences were first rate. Further the group was easy going and friendly, and the guide, Donald, a wealth of information about the island. Indeed, Donald is one of the best guides I have had the pleasure to work with. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Island Trip - This tour is a must if you visit Grenada!! Our tour guide Denny was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about the island's history and points of interest. Lunch at the Belmont Estate was very good. The rum distillery was still not offering tours, however Denny was able to drive around and through the distillery and explain the process of how they make the rum.The stops at both Grand Etang Lake and Annadale Falls were beautiful (make sure you bring your swim suit so you can take a dip at the falls. There is a restroom there where you can change into your suit). We also made a stop at a road side stand that sold spices and other island gifts. This is where we were able to see the Mona Monkey. Denny makes several stops so that you can stretch your legs and use the restroom. Thanks again Denny for a memorable day.

The trip did show several... - The trip did show several different areas of Grenada, but too much time spent on bus and not really enough time in some areas. The Rivers distillery was a valuable experience. Annandale falls was rather small, and we believe the Seven Sisters Falls might have been a better visit. Stop at Grand Etang park was disappointing--only to visit a few touristy shops for a few minutes, rather than to walk in to see some of the rain forest, maybe some wildlife. Belmont estate was charming. Tour Director "Tony" was rather terse often, and at times seemed impatient with questions or inquiries.

Not collected so did not happen!!! - I am sure this would have been a good tour had the operator collected us to take with them, unable to comment further under those circumstances
