Visit to Coba and Chichen Itza - This was a full day tour from Tulum. Our driver was Tony and guide was Frank. Both did a great job. The running order changed slightly so we did the following order Coba, Valladolid, cenote, Chichen Itza. This worked well as we were at Coba before the crowds, the cenote was at lunchtime and CI at the end of the day when the weather was cooler. We'd read all the info from Amigo Tours so knew there were additional fees..it wasn't an issue. We hired bikes at Coba and managed to cycle most of the routes in the limited time we had. Frank gave us lots of info about the Maya on the bus. He also gave useful info during the first part of our visit at Coba. The stop at Valladolid allowed us a quick leg stretch and go and buy some chocolate from the chocolate museum. The cenote was nice, but busy. Not quite sure on the health and safety on the steps up/down! Plentiful buffet, and although drinks aren't included they weren't expensive. Frank arranged for us to do a mini tequila tasting. Who knew that it could taste nice?. After the cenote we headed to CI. It was raining when we arrived but that wasn't a problem, we'd taken umbrellas. Unfortunately Frank didn't come in to give any guide info, but it's a big place to walk around. A lot of info is readily available on boards around the site or online. We had 2 hours free time and after a really long day this was plenty. There are lots souvenir sellers in CI (you'll hear the cry 'only 1USD, almost free' everywhere!) We travelled in a small air conditioned bus as a small group. I know we only had a short time at each place but this was fine as it allowed us to see/do everything in a single day cost effectively which is what we wanted.

Tour with history and layout - We are a family of 12 adults and 2 children who are traveling through the Riviera Maya, so it is essential to have flexibility and willingness when taking a tour. This we find on this tour, where in an ambitious route we managed to enjoy each experience. Jhonny, the driver, very diligent; and Pastor, the guide, very attentive and told us every detail about the history of the Maya that allowed us to enjoy even more of each sector we traveled. It also has a very good buffet service in the middle of the tour. We appreciate traveling Cobá and Chichen Itzá with Pastor. Highly recommended.

Adventures with the Jaguar and the Frog - This is a must! Our tour guide was beyond amazing. Miguel (or the Frog-Mayan name) was passionate about his people’s culture. He shared that passion with the group. He also taught the group about why the regions topography is the way it is. He told family stories to make everything relatable and more personal. The history he gave, along with me giving the science with Helios beliefs was profound. The sites were breathtaking. Make sure to take a bike or tricycle at Coba. It is too much walking for the time you have. The cenote we visited has a lot of stars to make sure to be prepared for tired legs. Chichen Itza was mind blowing. My family benefited greatly from the experience in many ways. This tour is a must! Hopefully you’ll get Miguel as your guide and Anthony as your driver. The Jaguar and the frog as I’ll remember them. Take your own water. That is one thing I overlooked. Happy travels!

Great day out and great host , worth it but be aware it is a very long day - We both had a great time and a thank you to frank and Jonny. The day starts very early depending on where you are but the first stop was Coba for a couple hours. Frank recommended we rent a bike (8usd) for the trip as the main spots were very far away from the entrance but great photos and experience there. Next stop was into Valladolid however the time was so short it was almost not worth going there apart from to browse a few shops. After it was to chichican cenote to cool down as it was HOT all day and perfect way to cool down and get something to eat. Really nice picture opportunity for the instagram lovers by the small waterfall in the cenote. Finally Chichen Itza , the tour guide warned us about how hot it is at the site compared to where we had been earlier in the day and he wasn't wrong as it was almost unbearable. Bring at least some money for the day to keep buying water, it's extremely important with the heat. Throughout the whole experience frank was given us great history and advice and we would recommend this package to anyone , but be warned it is a very long day (worth it!)
