BEST Tours in the QR!!! Perfect for friends, couples, or families. - Carey Tours provides the best experiences in the PDC, Tulum, and Cancun areas! (Ive tried others) We’ve done two tours with them so far, and are already scheduling more before we fly home. One of their guides, Limbert, is an absolute gem with his wealth of knowledge about the areas’ environments and ecosystems, and the local culture and history. We also got the pleasure of meeting Carlos today, and the two of them made our experience even better! The private turtle snorkeling experience in Akumal should be on your “must do” travel list. They picked us up from our condo in a new air conditioned and super clean van, which we had all to ourselves, and we spent the morning leisurely floating above the coral reef and sea grass watching turtles of all sizes eat amongst sting rays, schools of blue tangs, and baby squid. Afterwards we loaded up and explored a closed cenote that is almost too beautiful to be real. (Pictures posted here, but they don’t do it justice…you just have to see it for yourself) Our excursion ended with an incredible lunch at an open air restaurant, where we enjoyed the company of a parrot and local patrons before being dropped back off at our doorstep. There are other good companies that take visitors to these same sights, but Carey Tours hospitality and service is hands down the best in the business. All of their pricing is super affordable and their private tours are 100% worth the little extra for such a perfect day with close friends.

A fantastic experience - Highly recommended! The Guide picks you up early to snorkel with a local Guide. We have seen an awful lot of turtles, rays and fish. Then you go to a beautiful cenote where you can swim, followed by a nice lunch. Our Guide Alex was very friendly, attentive, sociable and knew a lot. Except for your swimwear and towels, you don't have to bring anything.

Beautiful, fun, exciting - Our tour was great!! First stop was snorkeling at Akumal beach. We saw at least five sea turtles while there. The cenote was unbelievable! The water was freezing but you get used to it quickly. Crystal clear water. Great cenote for kids. Lunch was also so good. Great day! Highly recommend Josh as your tour guide! He was so kind and friendly!

Turtle Snorkeling - This was the best tour experience that we have ever had!! Everything was perfect from the private transportation, snorkeling excursion, and the amazing tour guides! Johnny and Manny made the experience so memorable. Highly recommend.!!

Very Special! - The tour is amazing! We had to have a tour in the afternoon and it was arranged specially for us. We got picked up on time by Carlos at our hotel who drove us all the way to Akumal. We got to see turtles and sting rays and after swim in cenotes without anyone around. We learned history and some interesting facts thanks to Ulises. I would recommend him to anyone, he is a very knowledgeable easy going and fun! If you are in Cancun- that’s a great trip to do! I can’t compare to other tours, but ours felt special!

If in Tulúm this is fun and different - Miguel was the BEST GUIDE ever! He was very knowledgeable in the history. It was beautiful! Safe driver and made the drive to and from enjoyable. He provided water and took us to an amazing authentic small family restaurant. It was all fresh with the fruits and vegetables

Energetic tour guides… thank you Manny & Torta - The tour guides were very good in keeping us safe & entertained, but the turtle sightings were a bit off as there were A LOT of people in the water. The cenote visit was EXCELLENT and the guide videotaped us, which was very cool. The food at Juanita’s was just ok. Typical, overpriced restaurant fare.
