The Journey to Tulum: A Bumpy Ride

The day began early, with a 6:15 AM pickup from the hotel. The driver, a true professional, navigated the bustling streets with ease. But as we settled into the small van, it became clear that comfort was not on the itinerary. Twelve of us were packed into the vehicle, and while the air conditioning did its best, the cramped quarters and bumpy roads made for a long three-hour ride to Tulum.

Despite the discomfort, the anticipation of what lay ahead kept spirits high. As we approached the Tulum Archaeological Site, the turquoise waters of the Caribbean came into view, and the promise of adventure beckoned.
