- Salina Turda - You will descend into the underground where you’ll completely be surrounded by salt. Walk on a man-made gallery, visit three mining chambers, learn about mining techniques and local urban legends and, nevertheless, take a boat or a Ferris-wheel ride. The visit of the mine involves climbing and descending some stairs. In total there about steps to go up and down, but most of them can be avoided by taking two different elevators.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (from May to September, please take a sweater or a jacket with you as temperature inside is only 10-12° C (50-53° F) all year long)
- In full season, because of big queues for the elevators, the guide will impose taking the stairs (around 350 steps / one way)
- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- Please try to put on some non-slippery shoes.

Interesting place - Versy interesting. If you want to see the a unic place, this salt mine is the right place. We recommend to book a guide, you will find very interesting facts.

Amazing day - Very pleasant visit, Tudor is an excellent guide, we were lucky enough to have only two for this visit and it is all the more pleasant. We were able to visit the mines, the monastery and the best being the hike, certainly physical but very enjoyable! A big thanks to him !

A place of strength - A huge underground space with a lake, and a Ferris wheel, there are also playgrounds; croquet, tennis. A good place for a selfie.This is a "place of strength". After an hour and a half stay in the salt mine, you can freely climb the stairs of 14 floors.

A must see while in Cluj - Great visit. Interesting and authentic mine that is worth the trip. Go as early as possible to avoid the crowds and book a guided tour if possible as it adds a lot to the experience.

Amazing place! I would absolutely recommend this tour. The mines are beautiful and mind-boggling. - You can visit the mine and also have some fun too.
Salt mine is absolutely breathtaking, unique and definitely it is worth to visit.

Interesting and unusual. - An unusual and interesting experience.
The mine is well served with lifts to access the main mines, although there is a potential walk of up to 750m from end to end.
Only 45 minutes or less from Cluj by taxi.

1200 meters under salt - Interesting experience to have if you pass near Turda.
The natural part of the mine is really very beautiful, it's a shame that they wanted to fill the place with tourist attractions and recreational activities that have little to do with the surrounding environment.
The part of the lake is very nice, where it is possible to sail by renting small rowing boats, at 30 Lei for 20 minutes
It was worth it, especially for the initial impact of the salt chasm seen from above

Dont waste your money and time - What a waste of god damn time. place ruined by random activities auch as ping pong. Too many stairs and the line for the elevetor is 25 min long each way.
