Lovely, tranquil midsummer evening on the water in Turku - Very knowledgeable guide. All paddles, kayaks, life vests, and dry bags provided. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a change of clothing. We had calm water, but you may still get water on yourself from the paddle. Some kayaking experience may be helpful, but probably not required. We were fortunate to have prefect weather, light wind, few clouds. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys being on the water and enjoying nature. The only problem we had was where we parked. More than one of us parked in the adjacent private lot and when we returned to the dock we were locked in. For a moment we were worried that our car was going to be stuck for an indefinite amount of time, but we were able to unlock the chain.

Lovely kayaking trip on Sunday - I had no further practice in kayaking, but the trip was really enjoyable. After we got used to the kayaks, we started our tour through the archipelago with a magnificent view of all the islands. An unique memory of my time here in Finland! Tip: bring water proof clothes, if you have some, especially for you upper body.

Perfect evening in the archipelago - We had a very nice evening and we will definitely recommend the kayak tour. The two guides were totally sympathetic, warm and open-minded right from the start. The route through the archipelago was very beautiful and we had great experiences of nature. The beautiful weather completed the evening and the pleasant atmosphere. It was an experience we will never forget. Thank you for this great experience!

A great evening kayaking - My first time kayaking, and it had been an unforgettable experience. So much beauty and wildlife around, scenes as if from a journal like National Geographic. Hopefully, I will be back next summer!

An excellent day out! - Everything went very smoothly from a very beginning by requiring information until very end by delivering us to our hotel in Turku. Our guide was Johan. He was a very experienced guide, a good cook and an interesting person. Archipelago was wonderful. Our day out was adjusted according to our needs. Definitely recommend and looking forward to repeat it in the future, this time maybe for more days :)

some great days around the Archipelago - We spent five days paddeling around the Archipelago with Johan. The trip was very well organised by Aavameri and Johan was absolutely a great guide. He introduced us in kayaking and took care of everything. He personalised the trip totaly according our whishes. The days where never too long or too short but just perfect. We found beautiful places to make a break as well as to overnight in the tent. I absolutely can recommend this trip to anyone!

Old Friends - Earlier this summer, my wife and I were in Turku for a conference. When the work part was over, we took a 1/2 day trip with Johan around the Archipelago, taking off from Ruissalo. As soon as Johan picked us up, he made us feel as if we were old friends going out for a paddle. He was very knowledgeable about the entire area and second to none with kayaking. While we have been before, it was down in much warmer and calmer waters. The conversation flowed between us as if we've known each other for decades and only added to the beauty of our surroundings. I wish we had more time to paddle around, but we did not. As for safety, Johan took this very seriously. At 5'10" and 215 lbs, I was "just right" for my kayak. He could tell I was a wee bit uncomfortable and directed me back to the beach where we exchanged vessels. Right away, he saw that I was more comfortable and as he put it, "You look more comfortable, which means I'm more comfortable!" So, if you're ever in the area, give Benjamin and his team a shout. We highly recommend Johan, but as he put it, "All of Benjamin's guides are great, but there's only one of me!" The guy was an absolute star, both on the water and with his recommendations for what to do in Helsinki. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with Aavameri Adventures. We hope to return one day for a multi day trip. Finland is a special place and I'm glad we got to see it like a local.

Wonderful experience - The multi-day kayaking and yoga expedition in the Finnish Archipelago was a sublime and unforgettable experience. Photographs hardly do justice to the beauty of the sea and the islands in this part of Finland. Our guides, Anna and Anna, seemed to have thought of everything. Rather than adhere to a rigid schedule, they adapted to the varied abilities of the paddlers and the particular demands of the day. The chemistry between leaders and participants was excellent. Our adventure took place in late July, early August when the days were long, and we able to paddle some nights until 23:00. Benjamin at Aavameri did a wonderful job coordinating and staging our trip. I’m confident any outing his company sanctions would be equally successful.

Relaxing evening learning how to handle a sea kayak - Nice location, experienced instructor. There was enough time reserved for the trip, I felt relaxed and not stressed at all, there was no hurry. Still managed to learn all the basics of sea kayak handling. On the negative side, some of the equipment given to us had minor flaws (like the tail fin on my kayak was not working)

Nice way to see the archipelago - We had a great time on the trip. The only downside was that, because of the strong wind we couldn't go the normal route which sounded amazing.
