The perfect half day tour of Bali highlights! - This was the perfect half day trip of Bali around Ubud. I didn’t want to do a full day tour (10-12 hours) because it would be too tiring, so I opted for a half day tour, but one that still hit all the highlights. We saw rice terraces, the monkey forest, the waterfall, the markets, the palace, and the coffee plantation was an extra stop offered. The tour was exactly as described and our driver (Hari Budi) was amazing, super kind, and knowledgeable. When we got back to our hotel (around 4pm after leaving at 9am), I still had time to swim and relax in the pool before dinner. The day was full of activities yet not too exhausting, which was perfect. Highly recommend!

Ubud is amazing. - Our driver Aditya picked us up from our hotel with a big smile, he helped us throughout the tour and was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting answering all our questions! Monkey Forest is amazing I fell in love with all of them, it is very well managed with the well being of the monkeys definitely the priority, they are wild and are free to come and go as they please, it’s an easy walk around and the facilities are immaculately clean. We visited the palace in Ubud which didn’t take long so we went to a couple of markets in the area which were great for souvenirs. We went into the rice fields, there is a lot set up for the tourists - swings and zip lining etc but it doesn’t take away from the beautiful fields which are well worth seeing. Our tour included lunch, this was delicious and would definitely go back to the restaurant regardless of our tour! We then visited a waterfall, we stayed quite a distant away as we didn’t fancy hiking down to it but on our next trip I would! All facilities on the trip were clean, the Balinese people are all so friendly and welcoming, we would definitely do this again and are already planning a trip back to Ubud! A big thank you to Aditya for giving us a memorable day!

Brilliant Tour and Driver - Enjoyed the tour especially the Monkey Forest and visit to the Royal Palace. The Tegalong rice field is a monumental feat. My driver was Raka who was courteous, polite, knowledgeable about the sites we visited and his local knowledge. He ensured I was well taken care off. Thank you Raka for an awesome time. Highly recommend Raka as a driver and guide for your tours. Terima Kasih

BAD TOUR & SCAM COFFEE SALES - Long story short: Tour guide was just a driver with no interesting experience or discussion. Dropped us off at various destinations and left us. Brought us to a fake coffee plantation to sell us scam merch. The "tour guide": barely spoke to us in broken English throughout the trip, giving us very little information on Ubud and our destinations in general. Kept making weird creepy honeymoon jokes and generally was not helpful. The "Tour": we went to the Rice Terraces, Waterfall, Lunch, Monkey Forest as the tour suggests, where our tour guide just dropped us off and did not actually give us any tours. He also took us to Santria Coffee Plantation, which is not mentioned on the tour, because it is a local scam. The lunch was fine - pretty average, definitely not the best Ubud has to offer. Santria Coffee: This is the only spot where the tour guide actually went in with us, presumably because he is in on the scam. They walk you through a little path with some plants (none of which are coffee) and then sit you down to try coffees and teas, which actually taste pretty good. They then bring you to a gift shop to sell you the coffees and teas. We got home and opened them to find out they are just bags of sugar you mix with water. This is a complete scam and our tour guide is in on it. Overall - we have been on many better tours where the tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable. This was not one of them and I would not recommend this to anyone. You can just get a driver to drive you around to all of these places for half the price and have the same experience, while also not getting scammed.

Not worth the time - Spend most part of the day in the car. All visits are to places packed with tourists and not very much to see. Spent over 5 hours in a car for a 7 hours trip including 45mm lunch.
