- Genghis Khan Square - The square was named for Mongolian’s revolutionary hero Damdin Sükhbaatar shortly after his death in 1923. In 2013, the Ulaanbaatar City Council changed the name to Chinggis Square in honor of Genghis Khan, considered the founding father of Mongolia. An Administrative Court ordered the name be changed back to Sükhbaatar Square in 2016 after the Mongolian People’s Party and decedents of Sükhbaatar sued the city. The center of the square features an equestrian statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar, while a large colonnade monument to Genghis Khan, as well as to Ögedei Khan and Kublai Khan, dominates the square’s north side directly in front of the Saaral Ordon (Government Palace).

Not a very good experience - Was not that great. Firstly the guide came very late like 10.15 am when time told was 9 am. Then almost 45 minutes were spent in reaching the hotel of the passenger already in the car which was her overnight tour passenger. The guide did not know much English and also had very limited knowledge. Was a bit of disaster this one

Disappointed - The guide wasn’t very good, didn’t explain much and didn’t know what places we were supposed to visit. Never had lunch as I didn’t want CU fast food. Wouldn’t recommend this.
