- Tranquil Felicity. This place of pilgrimage was built between 1727-1736 by the order Manchurian King as token of his respect for Mongolian religious leader Zanabazar. The complex consists of 30 temples. During the communist purges, the monastery was able to survive for its great contribution in Mongolian architectural art and invaluable cultural heritage.

Khuvsgul, referred to as Mongolia’s Blue Pearl, is the largest freshwater lake situated in the country’s northern territory. The region is known for its diverse ethnic groups, like the Darkhad and Tuvan communities, or the Dukhan Reindeer people. To these groups, the reindeer are not only their primary means of survival, but also the core of their culture, as they continue to dwell in their traditional tepees.
