• This revered mountain, mentioned in the “Mongolian Secret History,” stretches 20km and is composed of granite rock. It features numerous caves, mineral springs, and is a habitat for mountain goats, sheep, eagles, and hawks. Ancient burial sites of Mongol warriors have also been discovered here. According to traditional Mongolian shamanic beliefs, the names of sacred mountains should not be spoken while present. Ideal for hiking and moderate climbing.

• Another highlight is an open-air stage dedicated to a famous Mongolian traditional long song singer, where singing contests are occasionally held in their honor.

Chinggis Khaan Statue

Töv - • After breakfast, we will head to the Tsonjin Boldog complex, home to the world’s largest equestrian statue. This 40m high stainless steel statue of Chinggis Khaan faces east towards his birthplace. According to legend, the great king found a golden whip here, symbolizing immense fortune and victory for nomads. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the Man of the Millennium.
• Optionally, you can experience horse trekking along the Tuul River through vast steppes with diverse landscapes.

Terelj National Park and Ulaanbaatar

• Continue your journey to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, known for its granite formations shaped by natural erosion, pine and larch-covered slopes, fields of colorful wildflowers, and pristine rivers and lakes.
• Visit other park sites such as the Cave of a Lama, Turtle Rock, and Aryapalo Meditation Temple. Hiking to the elephant-shaped temple along the trail offers various reasons to meditate, helping you find your own. The view from the top of the temple stairs is breathtaking. A perfect place to conclude your Mongolian adventure.
