She is obviously very skilled in weaving her clear passion for sharing Scottish Highland history and her knowledge of the spectacularly beautiful scenery together with lots of fun and a great traveling soundtrack! Amy does a brilliant job at tailoring her tour for your own interests and requirements. She also knows the best coffee and cake stops! Awesome Day - Amy was an awesome guide she provided an overview of what we would see and shared a number of facts and stories throughout the day and her passion for this lovely country shone through her delivery. What a joy to have experienced walking with an Al pacha. We also got to feed them which was a bonus. We had a great day of learning more about the history of Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands. An added bonus was Amy’s humour and her beautiful playlist of Scottish music. Atmospheric would be how I would describe it so fitting in with the beautiful scenery which just made me fall in love with this beautiful country. We had a group of five and we were very comfortable in Amy’s amazing van. It was spotless with air conditioning lots of leg room and was an extremely comfortable ride. If you plan to visit Inverness, and you should! Schedule this tour with Amy you will have an amazing day. We have also taken a couple of other tours with Amy and they were exceptional as well. She was a rare jewel to find and we look forward to booking her next time we visit.

An Introduction to the Scottish Highlands! - Amy is passionate about connecting people with Scotland and she does it with much care and humor! We started the day with a visit to Clava Cairns; exciting for the Outlander fans! After that we were off to Culloden Battlefield to learn about the Jacobite Rising, had lunch with stunning views of Loch Ness, and ended our day by meeting some cute alpacas and highland cows. A lovely surprise was seeing rainbows on the drive back. What's unique is that Amy introduced us to the history of the places we saw, but also to the culture of Scotland. I feel more connected to the place, and also the people. Warm, funny and proud of her heritage, Amy is a wonderful guide.

Highland Appetizer Tour - Amy is super nice and has a funny dry Scottish humor, we visited 2 Outlander locations, Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield, both pretty impressive places even without the fact that Outlander was filmed there ;). Afterwards, she took us to Loch Ness and we actually saw Nessie ;) During the car ride and at each attraction, she told us a lot about the surroundings and the history of Scotland. She was always open to questions and we had more than enough time to see everything. My personal highlight was the Highland cows that we saw on the way to an alpaca farm (our last destination), it was really great! I can only recommend it. The car is also very spacious, there is water and additional lighting as well as self-regulating ventilation.

Your first choice: A magnificent history and nature trip with Amy - Key word: connection, spirit Explanation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 History: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Landscape: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amy first introduced us to many aspects of Scotland's history and customs on this day. In particular, we learned about the Battle of Culloden, where, with Amy's guidance, the seemingly ordinary piles of stones transformed into vivid reminders of the brave Jacobite warriors. The spirit of the Highlands came alive in the sound of bagpipes and the echoes of warriors' cries, as if we were transported back to the fervour of the ancient battlefield. Later, Amy recounted the history of the discovery of the Loch Ness Monster—adorable Nessie. As the sun emerged, Loch Ness sparkled, and we enjoyed fantastic food at the lakeside visitor center restaurant. The expansive gift shop offered a wide array of charming Nessie and Highland Cow souvenirs, and we couldn't resist indulging in some mementos. Finally, we visited an alpaca and Highland cow farm, where we interacted warmly with the animals. I also greatly enjoyed the Scottish folk songs that Amy played for us during our journey, especially when she played "The Skye Boat Song" while introducing the Battle of Culloden. And as we bid farewell at the end, she played "Auld Lang Syne." Definitely highly recommended! Amy, thank you and see you again!

A pleasure and a joy. - Thoroughly enjoyed my tour of Loch Ness with Amy. Her love and passion for Scotland and sharing it with those she guided came very much across. We were a mixed party of nationalities who learned so much from what she shared especially Scotland historical impact on all nations. It made us see this land in a new found way. We had a mixed bag of weather but it did not spoil our day as Amy was very sensitive to our needs. We never felt hurried. It was a lovely extra touch that Amy also uses music to share the history and culture of Scotland. I will never forget the view of Loch Ness as we climbed the steep road to the sound of 'The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. You need to experience it yourself to understand the impact it made. I would highly recommend joining this tour with Amy.
