Twin Lakes Road - Customer’s meet at the river end point where briefings for the trip take place, customers are given river gear to dress into including wetsuits, booties, fleece tops, splash jackets, helmets and life jackets to keep warm and safe on the trip. Customers are then transported to the top of the river where we raft down the gorgeous 9.5 kilometer stretch of Te awa kairangi/Hutt river stopping at halfway to enjoy a light lunch riverside and do some awesome rock jumping.
The river trip is between 2.5 - 4 hours depending on flows, we end the river trip back at the meeting point where customers cars are waiting. Toilet and changing facilities are provided at each end of the river.
