Highlights
  • 6FQ6+CCW - Drive along the southern part of Grande-Terre, right flank of Guadeloupe. Start your activity with Pointe-à-Pitre Walking Tour where you will learn about its history, you will see the most important buildings and monuments, but also a brief history of the whole island. Stop by Marché aux Épices, a local market in the heart of the city, which is teeming with life. Colombo, nutmeg or vanilla are some of the many spices available there. Find many tropical fruits, home-made spirits or handicrafts here, which makes it the perfect place to find a souvenir. Enjoy the second stop – La Caravelle Beach, every vacationer’s dream. This beach is known for its white sand and distinctive palm trees. You will take a bath in heavenly transparent blue water. There are many stalls where people sell coconut drinks, flagship local drinks such as Planteur or Ti-Punch. Take a snorkeling mask with you to watch the rich marine life. Finally arrive to Pointe des Chateaux, the easternmost point of the island.
