Highlights
- Golden Gate Bridge - Departing from our dock, we’ll journey south through the Richardson Bay Channel, passing the renowned Sausalito floating homes, the California Taj Mahal, and downtown Sausalito. Our destination is the Golden Gate Bridge, perfect for capturing stunning photos.
- San Francisco - After the Golden Gate Bridge, we’ll set course for San Francisco, sailing by the notorious Alcatraz Island for an up-close view of the “Rock.” We’ll cruise along the San Francisco Waterfront, offering fantastic photo opportunities with the city skyline, including landmarks like the Trans-America Pyramid and Coit Tower.
- San Francisco Bay Bridge - If time permits, we may extend our voyage to include the Bay Bridge, sailing past Alcatraz on one side and the San Francisco waterfront and piers on the other.
- Angel Island State Park - We’ll pass by Angel Island and Tiburon as we make our way back to Sausalito and ultimately return to our home dock.
- Sausalito - As we head back to our dock, we’ll sail past downtown Sausalito and its famous floating homes, concluding a wonderful day on the bay!

This is an Interactive Sailing Experience on San Francisco Bay with a maximum 6 passengers on a private yacht with a USCG licensed captain and crew where you’ll sail beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, across the San Francisco waterfront, get a close-up look at Alcatraz and Angel Islands.
This Sailing Experience is “interactive” which means we want you to get the full experience of sailing so you’ll have an opportunity to take the wheel and sail your course.. It’s all part of an unforgettable sailing experience you wont get anywhere else..
You will see and be able to photograph beautiful scenery and may also experience a close encounter with some of the local wildlife that calls the bay home.
Sailing SF Bay Experiences are aimed at creating lifelong memories for you while showcasing the beauty and diversity of our area.
- This is an interactive sailing experience for 2 hours on San Francisco Bay
- We recommend bringing comfortable sneakers or tennis shoes, a warm waterproof jacket and sunscreen

Fantastic sailing - We had a fantastic time out on the bay. I enjoy being part of a sailing experience and that's exactly what we got.
If you're looking for a tour of the bay don't go here. You'll be at the helm most of the time, and with a good wind you'll be tired at the of the trip.

A great experience - Went with my young adult kids, and they had a blast. Very interactive with every one getting to steer the boat and learn about sailing. The captain/owner was very entertaining and informative. Definitely recommend.

Great 4th of July Weekend! - Fantastic time on the water! If you are looking to have a great small group experience, this is the place. Will was a great Captain. This is a hands on experience (if you chose to, which we did) and some all around wonderful sailing. We planned this trip somewhat last minute and we were glad we did. For our family, this was the highlight of a great 4th of July trip to the Bay Area! Will definitely deserves more than 5 stars!

Perfect sailing experience for a bday gift! - It was such a great, fun and interactive sailing experience! You get to see so much, including the Golden Gate, Angel’s Island, Sausalito and Tiburon, Alcatraz and San Francisco itself, and many more. The weather was amazing and Captain Will kept us entertained the entire time! Highly recommend!

Sailing adventure in SF Bay - We had a great afternoon sail and Will was an awesome Captain and host. The boat was built for the sailing conditions in SF Bay and the small group setting made it more relaxing. My wife and I actually sailed the boat for a large part of the trip and those memories will keep me smiling when I get back to grind at work! We cannot say enough good things about this excursion.

Great adventure for really experiencing sailing - This trip is advertised as “interactive” and that is completely accurate. As soon as you leave the dock, Will will get you involved as much as you want with sailing. Both my wife and I have some sailing experience so it was a real treat to be able to participate instead of just riding the whole time.
We also appreciated that Will keeps the trip very safe and cautious. We went out on a really windy day that could have been a white knuckle disaster. Will adjusts the sails and the direction to keep it a smooth and an enjoyable ride.
The views sailing from Sausalito towards SF are amazing. This is an experience you can’t miss!

Sausalito, angel island and Alcatraz sailing day -
We had an amazing interactive sailing trip in San Francisco Bay with Captain Will. My husband and I truly appreciated the personal attention we received from Will. He is incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel very safe throughout the trip. It was a gorgeous day, and Will called it a "champagne sailing day," which perfectly captured the experience.
My husband especially enjoyed the opportunity to sail in San Francisco Bay, something that has been on his bucket list for a long time. Captain Will made this dream come true with his expertise and friendly demeanor.
We will definitely be back for another adventure with Captain Will. Highly recommended!
