Birthday baecation rental was a success! - The captain selection process was a little rocky as we had to pick three times as the first 2 captains got sick last minute. But our final captain Angel was the BEST!!! I guess 3rd times a charm! He was fun, friendly and super accommodating! We had an absolutely amazing time!

Amazing!!! - We had a great time. Everything was done accordingly and in timely manner and very organized. The rental company has great communication. Captain Santiago was super nice!! They give you water, ice, champagne bottle. Just make sure to bring your own cups, and plates if you do decide to bring food. They have the floating mat. Life jackets could me a little bit bigger for the kids ages 9-11

The staff were great and... - The staff were great and accommodating! Boat was beautiful and the we got very lucky with the perfect weather. Next trip back to Miami I will be visiting them again for another rental.

Terrible experience - this was the worst experience i have ever had. I have been trying to get my refund for about 2 months now and they have denied me of it and charged me double. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone

How do I rate this a 0/5? - These people are crooks. My family flew from across the country to celebrate my graduation, so this was supposed to be a celebratory experience for the 8 of us. As soon as we got on the boat the captain [ANGEL PETIT] requested that we Zelle him $140 for being our captain for the FOUR-HOUR reservation for which we already paid $492. About 10 minutes after departing from the dock, the captain [ANGEL PETIT] suggested that we reschedule for another day and that we return to the dock due to the poor weather. Of course, we are going to listen to his advice since he has more boating experience than we do... After returning to the dock, he tells us that the ONE-HUNDRED AND FOURTY dollars that he told us to Zelle him 20 minutes ago is "non-refundable." For a 20-minute boat ride! Meaning, if we rescheduled we would have to pay an additional $140! The $492 was also nonrefundable, so we lost a whopping $632 on a 20-minute boat ride and a horrible experience. Happy graduation to me! STAY AWAY from these people at all costs!

They stole our money! - For our daughter's graduation we rented this boat with captain Angel Petit. That morning, it was raining on and off but we didn't want to cancel because we knew we wouldn't get our money back. Despite the showers we went ahead and boarded the boat. We paid the captain $140 through Zelle and about 5 minutes later it started POURING RAIN! The captain said that other boats were returning and that he thought it would be best if we returned as well. He suggested we call the company to reschedule. So we returned, only to find out that were could not reschedule and they would not refund us the $140 or the $492 that we had already paid for the rental. We were only on the boat for a total of about 20 minutes, NOT 4 hours. The owner responded in my husbands review that it wasn't raining and that we were the ones that cancelled, this is a LIE! It was June 2nd look it up!! It was pouring raining at around 4pm!! Do not rent from this company, they hope for rain only to take your money!! SCAM!!

THEY PRAY FOR RAIN… TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! - I had a reservation for a rainy day (06/02/24). An ethical business would have canceled all their reservations for that day, but not these folks. I knew that if I canceled I would lose my money, so my family and I went for my daughter's graduation, despite the rain. After we paid Captain Angel Petit $140 for 4 hours of service through Zelle and we were about a quarter of a mile away from the pier on the Miami River, the captain suggested that we should reschedule for a different date because of the bad weather. IT WAS CLEAR HE DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE. I told him that if that is what he wanted to do as captain, then we would follow his direction. As a consequence, he turned the small boat around and returned to the pier. Despite telling us he would contact the company on our behalf upon our return, he simply told me to contact the company to resolve the issue and that the $140 that I had just paid him 20 minutes ago was nonrefundable. Upon my return home, I contacted the company as directed (via email) and the response I received was that all my fees were non refundable because it was my decision to return to the pier due to the weather. Clearly, this result is unacceptable as I made sure that it was the captain’s decision as the CHIEF OFFICER ON THE VESSEL to return to the pier not mine due to the weather. Under those harsh rainy conditions, it would have been illogical and dangerous to disagree with the captain’s advice. In no way am I responsible for having canceled this trip and I am expecting a full reimbursement of all fees paid.

9/9/23 (bday) not recommended and worst experience. - I've been renting from them the past 4 years whenever I come visit Miami, but my trip this time was not pleasant. Once we left, the guy that checked us in was non stop calling us. We were following other boats and literally wasn't doing any waves while on the canal and got a call from them saying we were speeding. How can we speed if we have a boat in front of us and behind us? We went with the flow of traffic... Then once we got to the island we wanted too. He none stop called us again and told us this isn't the island we wanted to go too and kept trying to force us to go to another island? I mentioned to him that the island we are at now was the one I go to every year. Then it rained really bad and we left at 3 pm from the island to try and make it back by 4:10pm. Obviously we had to slow down and be cautious and there were many many boats going back to the marina so we were late by 20 mins and he went and charged us $100 extra. Overall, I've never had issues before with them till this time 9/9/2023 (my bday) and will probably not rent from them again. He made our experience the worst bday experience we ever had and I have many friends who I could recommend to them but definitely will tell them to go with other companies.

1 - Star, You Get What You Pay For! - I found these guys on Groupon, However, you ever hear the expression you get what you pay for. Number 1, the place is in a not so good of area and is a 30-minute boat ride on the river to get to the intercostal. (Maybe it’s best to find something closer to the marina or around Bayside) Second, the place has meter parking and is in a sketchy area with homeless and people selling drugs around the area. Although they will charge you $15 to park on their property that is gated. Third, the boats they use are run down and old, it’s not a nice new-looking boat. Number Four, they will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING! As I mentioned there will be a $15 parking fee, if you want ICE it's $8, if you want Water there is a charge for that, If you go over 8 MPH on the river to the intercostal you will be fined. They have a GPS that monitors your speed and send it to their office. … There are LOTS of waivers and forms to fill out, if you “ding” their old boats or scratch the fenders (that’s what fenders are for) you will be charged for everything (it’s actually outlined with every dollar you have to agree to pay, before renting) They will charge your credit card a $300 deposit that takes forever to get returned to you if they feel like not charging you for any damage. Now, This is the best part.. If you complain and in my case, they promised me that the gas and ICE were included (they charged me for it at the time of the rental an extra $70) then they tell you the ICE is not included it’s another $8 when they assured me it was included. If you COMPLAIN or if you tell them you will write a poor review they will cancel their rental with you on the spot. (What happened to your first amendment rights?) REMEMBER: You get what you pay for, never forget that. If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
