Great stops, great guide, would recommend for new or seasoned Chicagoans! - Conor was an absolute treat! My family and have have done a few history/architecture tours in Chicago, and this specific route of buildings allowed us to explore parts of Chicago we may never have learned about otherwise. Conor was extremely knowledgeable about small details specific to each building we visited, and you can tell he loved it which made us love it too! Would definitely recommend for new or seasoned Chicagoans.

Hidden Architectural Gems - What a perfect tour! We loved the fact that none of these buildings were on our radar before; basically, we never would have known about them if it weren't for this tour. What we would have missed! Conor, our guide, was knowledgable, engaging, and friendly, and kept the tour moving while also giving us time to take photos and a break. We learned about Chicago history and architectural history, and saw some utterly stunning interiors. The group was small enough that it felt cohesive. Great info, great stories, great architecture, great guide, and great experience overall. Highly recommend!

So glad we chose this tour! - I knew we would love this tour the moment we met our guide, Ty, and heard how he talked of the history of wheat in Chicago. The buildings we went into were such a niche part of the city that I don’t believe we would have been allowed in if it weren’t for being on a tour. I highly recommend, even if you are not into architecture, the beautiful designs of these buildings attracts!

A great tour with Ty - Our guide Ty was an absolute delight. He texted the morning of our tour to be sure we knew the meeting place. That was so helpful because despite leaving our hotel 40 minutes before the start time, traffic was awful and we could not get an Uber to pick us up. I was able to communicate with Ty and he assured me that it would be fine. We arrived a tad late but he made no big deal of it even though 10 others were in our group. The tour itself was fabulous. Ty is knowledgeable, funny and enthusiastic. He welcomed questions and comments. The buildings we saw were very interesting. For the price, this is a “must do” activity in Chicago. Kudos to Ty.

Great tour! Great Guide! - Our tour with Conor today was exactly what we hoped it would be, and more. Informative, entertaining, and surprising. Having been here before, we were looking to do something different and this tour fit the bill. We learned a great many interesting things about Chicago’s history and its beautiful architecture. Conor not only educated us about the inside of the buildings we visited (in a very direct yet entertaining manner), but he also filled us in on the historical elements that were entered into the design of these buildings. He was very knowledgeable, relatable, courteous and considerate of every person on the tour. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago!

Interesting and informative - Conor was very friendly and knowledgeable about the buildings on the tour. It is a lot of walking and towards the end I was ready to sit down, but my sister and I are both in our 70s so that could make a difference. We did have time to rest at the Palmer house towards the end of the tour. We learned a lot we would’ve never known just walking on our own. I highly recommended for anyone visiting or wishing to know more.
