Offered only for a short period each year, the Creole Death & Mourning Tour reveals a unique perspective of New Orleans’ rich history. It allows a maximum of 16 individuals. You will discover intriguing facets of Creole mourning traditions on this tour. Expect to see the Gallier House decorated in mourning attire, featuring shrouded mirrors, halted clocks, and draped in black, among other things. This special tour is presented exclusively during the Halloween period.
