Highlights
  • Southern Fuegian Railway - Take a journey on the End of the World Train. A 50-minute walk reveals the final 7 kilometers of the “Senda de los Presos” trail.

  • Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego - Witness the most iconic species of this forest, including shrubs, beeches, ñires, old man’s beard, Indian bread, and flowers, all within a stunning 63,000-hectare area. The tour includes several stops for panoramic views and photo opportunities.

  • Bahia Ensenada Zaratiegui - The final and, in our opinion, the most beautiful stop is Ensenada Zaratiegui. Here, you can admire Round Island and visit the last post office of the Argentine Post Office, where visitors from around the globe stamp their passports and send mail or postcards worldwide, marked with the “End of the World” stamp!

  • Bahia Lapataia - At Bahia Lapataia, you’ll find the famous End of the World sign, symbolizing the connection between Ushuaia and Alaska, the two ends of the American continent, linked by the “Pan-American Route.” This is the perfect spot for the iconic End of the World poster photo at the end of Route 3.

  • Green Lagoon Viewpoint - This viewpoint offers a view of a pool named for its vibrant water color. You can also see the impressive Cerro Cóndor and Cerro Guanaco hills.

  • Lago Roca - At Lake Roca, originally named ACIGAMI in the Yámana language, meaning “elongated basket,” you can enjoy a classic Patagonian scene of mountains, forests, and lakes.

Additional Information

The tour commences with our minibus picking you up, accompanied by a driver and a knowledgeable guide, heading towards Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Aboard the End of the World Train, we’ll journey back in time, retracing the steps that prisoners took many years ago.

Once we reach Tierra del Fuego National Park, you’ll be able to spot the distinctive species of the Fuegian forests within an awe-striking area of 63,000 hectares.

Our first stop within the park is the culmination of Route 3 in Lapataia Bay, where the renowned End of the World sign resides, representing the connection between Ushuaia and Alaska. Here, you’ll have the chance to snap that quintessential photograph that everyone strives for: The End of the World placard, marking the conclusion of Route 3.

Our subsequent halt is at Lake Roca, where we will soak in a classic Patagonian vista.

Concluding the tour, we will explore Ensenada Zarategui, home to the final postal box of Correo Argentino.

TRAIN TO THE END OF THE WORLD - There's no way not to go on this tour, the park is spectacular, the vegetation and the lakes in the middle, the typical post office for taking photos, taking the train afterwards and entering a legendary place, a trip recommended for sure.

Beautiful trip - We enjoyed the trip to the National Park Tierra del Fuego. Everything was very well organized and went smoothly. The guide assisted us through the purchase of the tickets for the train and provided all the necessary information. After the trip with the train (like a journey through space and time accompanied by nice music on the background), the guide took us to some picturesque places in the park, for walking and taking pictures.

Unique, wonderful and original experience. - Traveling on the train to the end of the world is not just a trip. It's like being in the Harry Potter station...it's fun with the "prisoners and police" who walk among the passengers, it's a tower of Babel, hearing a lot of languages, it's amazing to hear the raw history of the prison. It is sharing with strangers, transmitting on the same frequency. It's crazy, he does mischief, takes unusual photos, learns stories about the places he sees...goes on a train with a steam locomotive, sees the smoke...

Worth it! - It was a very beautiful walk. It had snowed during the night, so everything was white. A beauty! Everything went very well. Our guide was very friendly and told us lots of things about the Park, Ushuaia, etc. The train ride is fun and with the audio guide we learned the whole story of the prison at the end of the world.

Great tour with all the highlights of the beautiful national park! - This tour was really nice! We loved our tour of Tierra del Fuego and learning about the park. We got to walk and stop at all of the park's main highlights which was really nice. Our guide was wonderful as well. The End of the World train was cool, but honestly a little overrated if you ask me. It's not the tour's fault, but it is a bit of a tourist trap. The train is crowded and moves quite slow, but the history of it is very interesting and the scenery is great. I think the train is just one of those things you gotta do in Ushuaia, so we're glad we did it WITH Tierra del Fuego. Overall, it was great and definitely one of those things you just have to do in Ushuaia!

Top park, unmissable - The place is beautiful, the train ride is really cool. However, it is worth highlighting that the train is not there by chance. This was the means of transport for the prisoners who were there. You can take a so-called "funny" photo with actors dressed as prisoners. For me this wasn't funny because it goes back to a story of a lot of pain and suffering. Oh! Forget the headphones and don't take the "funny" photo. The stop to buy the photo is at La Macarena waterfall. You can waste a lot of time finding your photo and making payment, without leaving time to enjoy the top view of a waterfall with unique vegetation! The tour continues through the national park by bus if you have booked a tour. You reach the end of the Pan-American road with paradisiacal views, with lots of geographic information.
